Nuggets Celtics finals. May go 6-7 but Minny is the favorites right now barring injuries of course.

Im not even convinced the Wolves are better. They are playing harder and hungrier and that’s all that really matters.

Minnesota got better and healthier.

Denver got a bit worse and less healthy.

Faced a Wolves team that weren't ready. Old Lakers team. A weak Suns teams. Then they faced a weak Heat team which Tyler Herro didn't even play.

Great again?

Wolves have an actual alpha - maybe the only one in the NBA that truely wants to destroy everyone.

No one wants to hear this -

But he knows who his rivals are sga and Luka

He knows who is more accomplished and still in prime jokic and Giannis

He knows who the old guard is - KD and Lebron and Curry

And doesn’t care - he wants to
Destroy them all

https://youtu.be/0BEo-sin02w?si=QUDyG9JHJ7VpZIOO

He 3 years younger than Luka and SGA and these playoffs proving he is on their level when it matters -

If he wins this series he will be ahead of the curve on Luka and SgA when it comes to winning.

He is a better defender than Luka and can score as well as SGA and has better leadership than Luka and more outward fire than SGA which in sports can motivate people.

Sga is kawhi

Luka is offensive mj

edwards might just be MJs son…

I was happy with Lebron and Curry passing it to Jokic and Giannis

Giannis and Jokic eventually passing it to SGA, Luka and Tatum

And sga tatum and Luka passing it to edwards and wemby

Now Edwards trying to skip the line lol

Don't believe the hype.

Jokic/Giannis great players but after they won the championship my goodness people tried to over hype them. Calling them the next dynasty and putting them in the GOAT conversation.

This is sadly the power of social media. They already doing it with Ant. These players have to play at least 10 years at a high level for me to even entertain the GOAT talk.

Minnesota was at #1 in the Western Conference a lot of the season and when Kat got hurt they were 43-19, Denver was 42-19, and OKC was 42-19.

When KAT was hurt the Wolves went 12-6. They didn't fall apart, but probably would have won a couple more games with him.

They played Denver 3 games while KAT was hurt. Lost the first by 3, won by 13 at Denver, and then lost the last by 9.

If KAT doesn't get hurt the Wolves are the #1 seed in the Western Conference.

We were missing Naz and McDaniels, and when we pointed that out at the time we were told we were crazy.

Why does everything have to be a fluke, fraudulent, exposed etc?

Man NBA discourse is cooked.

No two seasons are the same. Teams don’t stay the same from year to year.

We’re not crazy. Y’all are.

This is a new season, the Nuggets are a different team. The Wolves are a different team.

It’s so stupid to compare teams year to year and act like they’re the same teams.

A bit of both. The Nuggets had the worst record of any West #1 seed in 4 decades last year and had a laughably easy road to the title. One of the weaker champions of the past decade, and they're not even fully healthy this time. The Wolves were missing Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels to injury for the whole series last season and clearly no longer have any jitters. They're clearly better this year than they were last season

They were great that season.

Stop trying to downplay championship teams it’s garbage.

McDaniels and Reid missed the entire series last year, then Anderson went down in Game 4.

The Wolves won 42 games last year and 56 games this year. Obviously they're much better.

You also won 14 more games this season, jumped 9 spots in defensive rating and 7 spots in offensive rating.

Neither team is the same as last season so pointless to act like they are the same.

Nuggets won their NBA championship last year fair and square.

Minn is underrated. They were young and immature. Obv grown up since last season. Talented, big and good. Esp on defense.

Dynasty talk is always ridiculous and people talking about it with a team that has only won one and yet to even begin their next playoff run was absurd.

However, there is no reason why the Jokic led Nuggets can’t win a title or two down the line while he remains in his prime.

Very hard to repeat.
