Hornets get their #1 target as coach. If they can have any type of luck in the injury department moving forward they could be a team on the rise in the coming seasons.

Feels nice to get our guy!

Good luck to my namesake. Hopefully, he coaches more like Mazzulla than Budenholzer. LaMelo needs to have a big year next year, regardless of the team's record and must play 60+ games, otherwise Hornets need to immediately build around Brandon Miller.

If he was your No. 1 target, might want to question those coming up with the targets...

EDIT: Not saying this is a bad hire, though.

Yeah he has only succeeded everywhere he has been and has been in talks for almost every single head coach opening in the last several years and is young at 39..... tell us why he isn't a good target.

it’s gonna be easy for everyone to just crap on everything charlotte does until we see results, but i will say does seem like new ownership is doing their due diligence since they’ve been on

Great hire for Charlotte. Wish we still had him in Milwaukee.

Again, not saying if he's a good or bad target. But to be your first choice? Do you not have higher aspirations?

For instance, with the Wolves, Lore and Rodriguez wanted to bring in Connelly to be the new president of basketball operations. Current owner, Taylor, asked them why are you wasting your time, a person like that will never come.

Who’s a better candidate than Lee? Bud maybe, pretty sure he’s said he isn’t interested in building anything up. A podcaster or Darvin Ham?
