[Woj] Frank Vogel officially one and done

Too bad they can't fire the owner who had to meddle and ruin what should have been a decade of sustainable contention

If I had to guess he probably replaces Charles Lee on the Celtics staff since I believe he was close to joining the Celtics coaching staff before taking this job.

$24.8m for the next 4 years to not coach the Suns.
They should’ve kept Monty Williams.

Vogel and Mike Bud won championships this decade but are out of jobs, Vogel now out of multiple jobs.

Another KD fall guy sacrificed. I’m guessing the next step is to hire a “KD coach”

No coach will get that roster a title.

Only way they win a ring is if 6 other teams planes crash.

Frank Vogel's nickname should be "Scapegoat"

Now I'm gonna sit back and laugh at the Lakers and Suns battle it out for JJ Redick.

Feel bad for Frank. He inherits poorly constructed rosters and is asked to turn them into title contenders. Lakers did him dirty and now so have the Suns. Hope he finds a better gig soon.

Our team is so badly put together, our owner is awful. How did we get here?
I hate this team.

Coaching either Lebron, Giannis, or KD sounds like the worst job to take as a coach. Get zero credit for winning get all the blame for the mediocre roster

The Wolves could very well sweep the defending champ Nuggets as well, should Mike Malone lose his job too?

No problem, they can just hire the 'player coach' KD wants. I hear Billups is available. Detroit might be willing to part with Monty Williams too, if Lue, Ham and Billups aren't available. They just need a coach the players understand, that was the problem right? Not playing too little PnR...

Bring Vogel back to lakers now that Westbrook isn’t there to completely screw up lineup.

If he does I promise KD won't be pushing to hire him.

Not surprising, the typical situation of an owner and GM who built an ill-fitting roster and the coach has to take the blame for not being able to do much with it. Wonder what the excuse will be next year when they are ousted early in the playoffs again.

No jokic isn’t a coaches killer. But if they do get swept it is the players who should take responsibility for it not the coach

Just to fire Monty this season instead?!?

And you blamed him for the whole no defense saga last season which is why they hired Vogel.

Watch how the media put all the blame on the FO, etc, and zero blame on the Suns star players. Oh, I guess the standards are different if your name isn’t LeBron “Coach Killer” James even though it says more about him than those head coaches if you actually look at the totality of their overall body of work. Outside of Spoelstra, each and every head coaches LeBron had became irrelevant after he parted ways with them.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation
