July 23rd could give September 25th and December 18th a run.
(Best statistical year included)
C - Elden Campbell Lakers 95-96
13.9p/7.6r/2.2a/1.1s/2.6b in 33mpg, 50FG%, started 82 games
PF - Antoine Carr Kings 90-91
20.1p/5.5r/2.5a/0.6s/1.3b in 33mpg, 51FG%
SF - Gerald Wallace Bobcats 05-06
15.2p/7.5r/1.7a/2.5s/2.1b in 35mpg, 54FG%
SG - Gary Payton Sonics 99-00
24.2p/6.5r/8.9a/1.9s/0.2b in 42mpg, 45FG%
PG - Michael Williams Pacers 91-92
15.0p/3.6r/8.2a/3.0s/0.3b in 35mpg, 49FG%
That is a NIGHTMARE defensive team. Payton is the obvious standout, but Wallace and Campbell are also defensive studs and Michael Williams can chip in with some steals. Combined average of 9.1spg and 6.5bpg. Rebounding is lacking a bit, but its not a huge issue. The only thing sorely lacking here is outside shooting, but at least the playmaking ability is there. Not quite McAdoo, Pippen and Billups, but I like my team.
