Not to answer for him because it's not my business, but he shouldn't be.

He got to witness his team winning a title just two years ago.

1 Title + 1 horrible year >>> being swept in the Finals + mediocracy.
yes, but still. the losing gets to you.

for a while, i mocked at our losses at it being better for us in the long run, but we need a W in the worst of ways.

I wouldn't think Heat fans would be running smack on Lebron leaving Cleveland. I'd say the odds of Wade bolting Miami are significantly higher at this point.

What exactly is mediocracy anyways?

Well, maybe the Heat having the Kings number continues, coming up soon. Even with the Heat being a lesser team than in the past number of years.

Some of those losses just sucked. Tough in different ways, and like, 3-4 of them on TNT/ESPN.

Why?

The Heat will have $30M+ in cap space to get a player for Wade of HIS CHOOSING. -- So, he will have the right to dictate who he wants as his running mate and the style he wants to adopt for HIS team.

Riley's already mentioned that moves that will be made the next 2 years leading up to the 2010 FA signing session, will be made for the long run; IE-for Wade.

LeBron/Wade/draft pick/Haslem would be quite a core

Really?

The odds of Wade getting a good enough sidekick next to him in the next 2-3 years are significantly higher than the same happening for LeBron. You think LeBron James stays in Cleveland with Illgauskas as his best supporting player? Besides, LeBron has openly stated that all he cares about is money. Doesn't he have a clause in his Nike deal that increases his percentages if he joins a major city? Exactly. He's gone. There's no chance in hell he stays.

But I was more so curious to a Cavaliers fan mocking Heat fans when Cleveland doesn't have a SINGLE accomplishment within their organization. Being swept in the NBA Finals is their biggest accomplishment. I am definitely not going to openly rip a franchise, but don't jump down on my team if our accomplishments are far superior to your's.

People didn't want to see the Heat on national television, yet all the conversation is still about them even though the game is long over.

Lebron getting more money for going to a big city was a rumor that has never been substantiated. That's your reason for him leaving? Are you saving the Jay Z friendship as a Plan B? LOL.

The Cavs can have just as much money freed up as Miami to bring in sidekicks. They have nobody under contract the year Lebron can sign an extension. They have a bunch of flexibility.

They can package promising, proven young talent in Gibson or AV with a bunch of expirings to bring in a star. Or they could build around that young nucleus.

Either way, the future is bright in Cleveland.

I guess you can believe Lebron is going to bail on his hometown and a large window to win championships if that makes you sleep better at night. I mean the future is so bright for the Knicks and Nets. How could he pass that up?

Wade and LeBron's current teams will basically be in the same boat come their Free Agent years; no one under contract, and tons of cap space for their teams to spend.

So the comment you made earlier about Wade is just plain SILLY!

kidd's terrible shooting and turnovers are really what is left to be desired from his game. id take nash's lack of defense but superb offense over kid''s defense and rebounding.

Lebron's on a contender. Wade's on the 2nd worst team.

Lebron plays for his hometown team. Wade doesn't.

Lebron already has young talent around him. Wade has ...?

Toss in the fact that Wade is entering his prime and facing a major rebuild and I have a hard time understanding why he is more likely to stick around.

You even said the future flexibility is equal. So why wouldn't you give the nod to the player with the better present and immediate future?

I think both are staying, but stand by the idea that Wade is more likely to leave than Lebron.
