Post#1 » by UKF » Fri Jan 25, 2008 7:09 pm

Who do you guys think will be in the three point shoot-out? Who deserves to make it? And when will the participants be announced?

Kapono has to defend his title.

Then:

James Jones
Anthony Parker
Peja (rejuvenated version)
Rashard Lewis
etc.

Wow J-rich at 42%? I knew he was stroking it in Oakland last year, but that's with a ton of attempts as well. Maybe he can add a 3 point win along with his dunk titles. Might as well since he'll never be an all-star.

James Jones will make it, Steve Blake SHOULD make it, but won't. He is 6th in the league in 3pt%. Jones leads the league, so youd have to think he'd have a good shot at winning

Kapono would get on fire, and the cameras will cut to Wade going "damn".
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Kapono, as the defending champion, is a lock

So too is the league leader in percentage, James Jones.

Peja, as a former winner who is top 10 in percentage, should probably be extended an invite.

I'd have Daniel Gibson as the fourth choice, and beyond that there are probably a half dozen players with a claim for the final two slots (are they still inviting six? They mess with the All-Star festivities so frequently that I can never be sure...).
