lmao Green is a scrub you could find better prospects in the D-League probably. no way houston gives up a 1st, we'll give you a 2nd and Snyder and that's it. Houston got Brooks/Head with mid 20s draft picks and they are all betterr than Green.

Darrick Martin for Gerald Green... I hear Minnesota needs veteran leadership.

PHX, GS and any other fast break oriented team that doesn't care about defense unless they need to clamp down at the absolute lat possible moment would be a great fit for Gerald to get his confidence up.

I could see him playing for GS, but we have too many players already. The team needs a point gaurd....i like his size though; a 6'8 sg.

Yea, I don't think he is going to go to either of those places since they are playoff caliber teams. I really don't see anybody having any need for him. Guys like him come around all the time but most of them show a lot more improvement than he has in their first 4 years. He simply doesn't have the knowledge of the game to go with his incredible athletic ability.

Looking at the rest of the cellar dwellers in the NBA, I don't see where he fits in.

If Patrick O'Bryant gets traded to Minnesota for Green, I will be part Timberwolves fan.

Damn, O'Bryant has some serious skill but Nellie just doesn't see it in him enough to play him. Patrick O'Bryant, a 7 footer with a sky hook, a good mid range shot, and athletic.

If O'Bryant gets traded to the Timberwolves, him and Al Jefferson will have the team set at the center and power forward position for the next couple of years.

And for Gerald Green, I would welcome him to Golden State. Nellie would make a great player out of him and make him be active on defense. Either Kelenna Azubuike or Matt Barnes or Mickael Pietrus will be gone this offseason, so Green would have to wait until next season to get plenty of playing time... but it would be worth it.

I can't believe houston fans are offering a first rounder for Gerald Green. I'll be surprised if GG is still in the league in 3 years. The guy has no basketball IQ, no handle, no defense, a weak frame and has a horrible attitude to boot. Nobody would trade a first rounder for a 3rd year "prospect" who is getting zero minute from the worst team in the league.

You think Green can get minutes behind Tmac, Shane Battier, Head and Bonzi? I dont think so either. Synder is better than GG already...

Gerald Green is going to be a solid player..........in Europe.

Gerald Green could contribute to a bench. He did pretty well last year when the Celtics gave him a shot. The twolves could probably get a small expiring and/or a 2nd rounder for him.

I dont know which rocket fan is that high on gerald green to offer a 1st for him, but Snyder and a 2nd is the most from Houston.. He would be playing Snyder's role though barring injuries..

Keep in mind I've only seen O'bryant play twice, but the 2 times I saw him play...the guy looked like he would have trouble making the 8th grade A team. That's just me though, GS fans feel free to correct me because you know more about him than I do.

Nah, most Warriors fans say that he sucks, but I have hope for him. He was the first ever NBA lottery pick to be sent to the D-League.

I'm not saying he's great, I just think he has a lot of potential. But right now, he plays with no determination. He's still young though.

Today's Green's 21st birthday. He must've got drunk for the first time, which would explain the ridiculous trade demand.

Just an FYI on the O'Bryant trade.

Yes, O'Bryant could be better this year in MIN, and Green could be better this year in GSW.

The difference is that MIN has no reason to be better this year, and GSW does. MIN isn't fighting to make the play-offs, and even if POB did well, all it'd do would be raise the price MIN would have to pay to keep him. He's from Minneapolis already, plus next year's playing time, I think they already have a good shot at the guy next season.

Trading for POB can only reduce MIN's chance at their goals.

Math is not your friend. Green just turned 22.

He seems to have a star complex. Somebody wake him up! He refused to work out against other players before the '05 draft, making the Blazers decision to pick Martell over him pretty easy.

He should sign with a team in Europe and make it easier on himself.
