Do you now think Hedo Turkoglu should be an all star?
Or do you still hold your pre conceived notion that he's still nothing more than a bench player?
If you reward teams for good records, which the NBA has been doing, then Hedo deserves to go. he's been money in 4th quarters all year and todays game vs Boston was just icing on the cake.
Just look at his numbers this week vs mostly tough teams.
Vs Portland, 20 pts 8 rbs 5 asts
VS Detroit 26/5/8
vs Memphis 26/4/5
vs Detroit 23/4/3
vs Boston 27/6/3
Whether you like him or not, he deserves to be in the discussion whereas a month of you many of you scoffed at the notion. Not many guys better in the clutch this year

aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

As I've said before, he is in himself having a "allstar" year, but that doesnt automatically equate to a place on the allstar squad.
There are many players having a great year, so its tough to say who should and shouldnt go.
To even be considered for it I am pretty pleased, I'd be happy with people just recognising how well he is doing [which he is] and putting him in the conversation for it.
I dont see him going straight off, but maybe coming in via injury wildcard thing like Okur did [and J.Howard?] did last year; that could be a possilblity; though its never good to "wish" people in this way.

STARTERS:
PG: Kidd
SG: Wade
SF: Lebron
PF: KG
C: Howard
Bench: (7 reserves)
[LOCKS]
PF/C: Bosh
SF: Pierce
SF: Butler
PG: Billups
[WILDCARDS]:
SG: Rip OR Allen
PF/C: Jamison (because he's a big)
Last spot:
Turk, Shaq, Rasheed, Calderon, Z, Gerald Wallace, Josh Smith, Richard Jefferson
I'd say give that last spot to Turk.
