Jermaine might be the best player they could get and still contend...

With O'Neil, Carter, and Jefferson they might have some balance...not much at PG, but maybe Marcus Williams can pick his game up.

Honestly, Rod Thorn must be worried about his legacy here. Every single GM that trades a star ends up being fired or severely questioned soon after. Weisbrod, Babcock, King, Kupchak...it's not easy to pull off.

wouldn't be a bad team, because carter can move to the 1 too and run sets for the nets. but they have alot of faith in marcus the quicker they get it done, maybe he can get used to running the team quicker and get some experience in before the playoffs. carter shooting from outside, RJ to the line, JO in the post would be a nice mix.
