Are the Lakers going back to the Finals?

Post#1 » by IggyTheBEaST » Fri Feb 1, 2008 8:29 pm

Its feels like a long time since the Lakers have been this good and now they add Pau Gaso! The Lakers have missed shaq for a while, but now it seems like its their time to rise back to greatness. Will a lineup of

Fisher
Kobe
Odom
Gasol
Bynum

The Lakers got that extra piece that they needed.

BUT... Bynum may not be back this season, and if he does come back he may not be 100% healthy. They still have a shot at the finals this year, but imo they have a better shot the next few years (assuming kobe stays).

There is no team in the west that comes CLOSE to the Lakers right now, we are definitely the favorites to win it all now.

Laker fan here, Im so excited right now but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I definately see us making past first round this year. But not WCF. We can get close to finals next yr if everyone gets healthy

They were going back to the Finals when they still had Kwame.

I think this was the doing of Red Aurebach.

well since the question is "will" this move bring them back to the finals, and not "can" this move bring them back to the finals my answer is no.
