That's true cause Dirk started backing them down and the East countered with small line-up by bringing Ray for 3's to get the East back in it.

In all seriousness either of the players deserved it.

I am just trying to make a strong case against underrepresented players like Ray Allen who had a phenomenal game considering how limited his playing time was.

I'm sure Lebron and Dwight went up to Doc Rivers before the game and demanded to get 30+ mins so they could show the world how good they are at basketball.

Considering that one of them didn't even care about the game...
I mean we all saw Rasheed jacking up threes with his left hand...

Dunno what it is, but Bosh just doesn't do crap with a bunch of good players around him.

He's been horrible in the Olympics and the All Star games.

I think all 3 of them were just having fun.
Rasheed with the lefties.
Chauncey and Rip shooting after every other possession.

I am certain they talked about it!

True

Sheed prob smoked a bliz before the game. When he decided it would be fun to shoot threes with both hands.

I give Chauncey and Rip a lot of credit though. Without them stinking up the joint at the beginning of the 4th. The game wouldnt have been so close and exciting at the end.

I wonder, did Kobe get this much hate when he took 24 shots in 28 minutes last year to win all star MVP? People are picking apart an All Star game?

LeBron had the most votes of the players who played, so the coach gave him the most minutes. Big surprise there.

This was a great all-star weekend. The celeb game was entertaining. Rookie-Soph game was fun and Boobie shattered the 3 record. Deron breaking the Skills Challenge record. Kapono tying 3pt shootout record. One of the best dunk contests ever. Pretty good all-star game with a great finish.

As much grief as Kobe gets it's not even comparable to the amount that LeBron gets in the ASG and Worlds.

i hope he did. how can you shoot more than 20 times in an AS game. unbelievable. i was watching ray allen interview, and he was saying how he felt good not letting his family and friends down. look at guys like joe johnson and antawn jamison who couldnt even take shots. they have families and friends too.

Bosh looked absolutely horrible. He couldn't finish any of the gimmes that LeBron and Kidd were handing him. All he had to do was throw it down. Does that guy know how to dunk? Sheed didn't care at all about the game and just wanted to shoot 3s. Luckily, Yao also just wanted to shoot 3s. LOL.

Pierce did seem to Hog the ball a little when he was in the game, but he only got to play 12 minutes, so he has to be let off the hook.

Ray played awesome. Just this week people were saying he didn't deserve to be an Allstar, and then he goes off for 28 points in 18 minutes. If he had played as many minutes as LeBron and continued to score at that rate, he'd have had 47. I voted for him as the MVP, but I'm not surprised at all that LeBron won in the fan voting. How many times has an injury replacement won the MVP? LeBron played great himself, and that dunk towards the end was almost as nice as Amare's facial on 'Superman.'

Pierce didnt even play in the 4th quarter, im guessing you mixed him up with somebody else. He finished 5-9, yeah he forced a few shots but who didnt in this game besides maybe CP3.

It was Billups more than Pierce. Whenever Chauncey touched the ball there was no ball movement.
