LeBron had the most votes of the players who played, so the coach gave him the most minutes. Big surprise there.

Kobe was getting some love by the members here on the 2007 all-star game:

Took me a while to dig it up but here is the 2007 All-star thread:

Even B-Mac gave Kobe some love, when B-Mac does that you know Kobe is playing well

Kobe got booed by the crowd in Philly because he told the press he never wanted to play for the Sixers, and always idolized the Lakers as a kid.

that's not why he got booed, isn't the game I was referring to, and has absolutely nothing to do with the question I asked.

You would think a kobe fan would have sympathy for all the hate LeBron gets, although i do realize he is a threat to your favorite players screen time and legacy.

Hype has no substance, and unproven phenomenon. lebron james is WAY passed that, so let it go.

Ray Allen came up huge in that 4th quarter, really hit some huge shots to keep the West from winning the game. LeBron was spectacular as usual and I just love Paul's game.

I'm glad the West was able to make it competitive near the end.

Bosh was not nearly as bad as people are making out it be. There was about 3 times where he went up and clearly got hacked but it wasn't called. Just like other players (West) were fouled and it wasn't called. That's why it's an all-star game. The only big men you could say were clearly better than him in this game were Howard and Amare. Duncan shot 2-7 and 4 TO's, Nowitzki was 5-14 and was blocked by Wade for goodness sake, Sheed seemed to enjoy bricking left handed 3's, Jamison didn't do anything, neither did Yao. Let's face it the All-star game is generally a guard game with a few exceptions. Most big men play better in structured systems like Duncan, Yao, and Bosh.

A few other players that didn't perform very well were Billups (3-10 Fg, 0-6 from 3, -18) and Iverson with 6 turnovers.

That was a fun game! Except when AI was handling the point guard duties :nonono:

CP3 > AI. As a PG anyways. Oh yeah, and Jesus FTW.

Nuggets really need a PG, methinks. Iverson should just shoot. I mean he aint bad at finding people under the rim.. but I don't see them going far without a real PG.

Any questions about Roy deserving his All-Star selection were hopefully put to rest.

 @ people saying LeBron is the only one trying to win the MVP. Only the old vets (minus Kobe) don't care to win it.

Maybe (maybe) for the future. Give me Nash + Kobe now.
