I think a lot of the players were surprised at how strong he was, like when he plowed Ray Allen, and checked LeBron for a few plays.

Excellent finish! I'm glad the DVD I was using to record the game managed to last long enough to get the whole thing....why is Lebron's MVP annoying me?

Bird: 35
Magic: 34
Dr. J: 33
McHale: 30

87-88:

Magic: 39
Malone: 33
Bird: 32
Lafayeete Lever(I don't even remember this guy): 31
Dominique: 30

88-89:

MJ: 33
Isiah: 33
Stockton: 32

90-91:

MJ: 36
Barkley: 35
Ewing: 30
Malone: 31

91-92

MJ: 31

92-93

MJ: 36
Barkley: 34
Isiah: 32
Stockton: 31

93-94

Pippen: 31
Hakeem: 30

94-95:

Penny Hardaway: 31
Pippen: 30

I'm no LeBron apologist, I'm not even a Cavs fan, I'm just a realist. Now stop crying about LeBron playing 30+ minutes.

That is all.

dwight howard even played more minutes than lebron last night

I feel Moon should have merely taken off from the line with no help, instead of bringing in props. Landing a dunk from that distance by itself is sick, wicked and nasty on its own. He overdid it and I expect a Dwight Howard-like comeback next year.

Yao disrespect?

Post#3566 » by technologic » Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:20 pm

How did Yao Ming, a voted starter, play less than Roy, Paul, Nowitzski, Stoudamire, Nash, Boozer, and West?

The East were playing run and gun most of the game, Yao was too slow to keep up.

because the east was going on the break scoring and he couldnt keep up, but in general he does get a lot of disrespect...

You've gone ahead and added a link, but yeah, I was going to say that I read that Yao didn't want to play too many minutes last night.

Kapono's Guinness record

Post#3570 » by technologic » Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:47 pm

FEBRUARY 17: Jason Kapono of the Toronto Raptors breaks the Guinness World Record for most three-point shots in two minutes with 43 baskets on center court during NBA Jam Session Presented by Adidas at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center February 17, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Does anyone have video of this?

Here's the link to the thread on the Raptors board.

I have no idea if the video was posted, but that's your best shot.

Noooo! All-Star weekend is officially over and I don't want to stop watching. Man they should consider making it longer. Extending it to Monday (since it is President's Day) and starting on Thursday. The Jam Session is still there until Monday but they should have like something else to add to this weekend. Overall it is great, but for me it's too short.

Dwyane Wade just laughs at Dirk when he's on the floor. Good god does he own him.
