You're obviously a real tough guy talking **** and crunching numbers over the internet. Still mad that your last chance at a championship left for Atlanta a few years ago?

I love how people feel like they're better than someone because of the team they choose to cheer for. Anyone can be a fan of any team.

JoshB914 wrote:So? The Warriors are better than the Hawks. Are you attempting to make a relevant point here?

Once again, the Warriors are far better than almost anyy eight seed ever was, and if you don't realize that then you just don't know much about basketball. If you hold number 8 seeds to that standard then there is really nothing I can tell you.

NO, I said the Hawks aren't on the usual NBA playoffs team level cuz they have a whooping .451 record! Not just cuz the Warriors are a zillion times better and still missed out, even if that's a point u gotta consider as well.
An 8th seed playoffs team usually gets near .500. I know u aren't really familliar with the playoffs, so I can see where ur coming from tho
But I'm not gonna try convincing u otherwise since that'd just be talkin to a brick wall!

Why are you in here bashing the Hawks? Just shutup and leave, your opinion means absolutely nothing to any Hawks or Celtics fans..

Well I've always been a huge KG fan (dig Rondo and Ray Ray as well), u can be sure I'll be rootin for the Celts like mad thru-out their entire eastern conf playoffs run since they're my fave team in the East.
So this isn't gonna be the last you'll see of me in here, I def will not "shuttup and leave", sorry to put a cloud on those hopes of your's.

And if u can't handle smack talk then just keep on the Hawks board
Bit**in about trash talk when u go off callin peeps "retards" comes across as pretty frigin (Please Use More Appropriate Word) BTW

I want to say Boston in 5, but I gotta go with the sweep. I think this series will be closer then expected though.

You just don't get it. There is a difference between a team with a .500 record and a team playing .500 basketball. We have been playing .500 basketball ever since we got Bibby. T

his is very easy to understand, as many teams play at levels different than their overall record in the playoffs because of trades/injuries/chemistry etc. Did I really have to explain that fundamental fact? I have gotten dumber trying to explain this very basic element of sports to you.

If the C's lost KG/Pierce/Allen before the playoffs are they still the caliber of a 66 win team heading into the postseason? Because that is what you are saying: that regular season record indicates what kind of a team you are no matter what the circumstances may be. The Warriors from last year might have something to say about that.

Enjoy the off season!

And there u go again talkin outta yer butt :nonono:

Learn sum math before makin outta the blue statements like that

b-ball forever wrote:Oh wowzers, so 1 of the games the Hawks lost came against the Celts... what exactly is the excuse of a factor that was supposed to change the outcome of that game? U seriously think that u guys were gonna beat Orlando, the Celts, and the Heat for sure if the playoffs weren't wrapped up yet?

LMAO : "We were a .500 team with him and maybe a bit better and anyone will tell you that".
Wrong choice of words, "Anyone" does not equate to Hawks homers.

15-17 in the Bibby Era it was,

15 divided by (15+17) = .468, NOT "above .500 basketball"
, 1 + 1 = 2, and 4 + 0 = sweep

So yes, u do suck at math, and that is tarded reasoning.

Yeah, Suns don't have a chance against the Spurs..

b-ball forever, your problem isn't with Hawks fans, your problem is the way that the NBA is set up. It's not the Hawks fault that the East sucks and the Warriors are in the West. Don't bit*h to us, we don't control that. We are Hawks fans and haven't been to the playoffs in 10 years, and we're gonna get killed by the Celtics, do you really have to rub that in our faces any more? We deserve SOME kind of glory after all the crap we've been through the past 10 years..

PS: Sorry that y'all got the Spurs in round 1, guess y'all will have to also watch from the sidelines in round 2..
