Does the Hawks offense always look this bad? Or is the Celt's D just that good?

Ok.. A lot. I didn't realize they only have 60 points right now until the commentator said it.

Celts not even breaking a sweat and they're still whipin ATL's butts, as expected.
Rondo's tearing it up, dude's just got awesome smarts for a 2nd year playa.
KG shud take less jumpers and get in the post more, but I guess he's just saving his energy for when the legit playoff teams come around. No need to it waste it against these guys.

J-Smoove is sucking donkeyballs, and Bibby's a black hole. You'd expect some semblance of organized basketball from both teams at this stage of the competition, but no nada from the Hawks.

Can't wait to see the Celts go up against legit playoffs competition in the next round.

Hey Rasho, Rasho didn't play well today, how come? I didn't watch the Orlando-Toronto game, but I looked at the box score.

Chill out y'all, we played horrible tonight. Everyone on our entire team was playing their first playoff game except Bibby and JJ who both sucked. Rondo made some of the luckiest shots I've ever seen, and noone on our team could make ANYTHING. I still expect to at least win one.

That's the thing - I don't think the Hawks were horrible. They played okay but the C's are good enough to make them LOOK awful. That's how it's been all year with them.

People think they aren't so special - they go and kick some "awesome" team or in this case mediocre teams but like the Hawks, San Antonio, The Lakers, Houston etc and then suddenly that team had a "bad game."

Maybe the C's are just that good..

^^agreed. hawks played horrible because the celtics made them. they're the best defensive team in the league. celtics are going 16-3 this post season.

I do think the Hawks had a number of unforced turnovers in the first half, and they could have gotten it to close to a tie at halftime if they took better care of the ball.

In the second half, the Celtics were able to score on them at will or get to the foul line, which basically made it a half-court game. And there's no chance for the Hawks to win if they can't get any fast breaks.

The Celtics are just so good. I kept felt like we were playing okay and then I'd look up and we'd be down 12.

Frankly I don't think either team played particularly well. The margin of victory was simply an indication of how much better the Celtics are.

Hey, Curmudgeon. Welcome back. Want to give us an overview of why we should bench Pierce in the next playoff game?
