c'mon, be nice. If all they want to take away from the game is Smith giving KG issues, then I say let them hold that to their hearts to keep them warm.

Don't think Josh had any impact on KG, since the majority of his shots are fadeaways or face up jumpers from 18 feet. Where Smith really affects the game is around the hoop. Don't think there is a better shot blocker in he league.

Hawks have some work to do to hang with the top teams. joe Johnson is a nice player, but he can't carry a team like TMac or Kobe. Bibby just looked old out there. He still has a sweet shot when he's open, but he couldn't shake Rondo in the halfcourt game.

Yeah, how is that one working out. Pretty soon TMac will be 0-7 in his playoff career.

I hope it's a full house and a good game. The Hawks are a nice young team but they just aren't there yet. Too bad Knight passed on Chris Paul and Deron Williams in the draft.

They are weak at pg and while Horford is a nice player (ROY in my opinion) he's not really a center. They still have some rebuilding to do.

Bibby has to step up if Atlanta is going to keep this close. He has just been aweful in this series. Without his perimeter shooting, Boston can sag in the lane, double JJ And generally pressure the rest of the team much more easily.

Boston is a better team than us but am I the only one who's noticed the atrocious refeering?

THe Celtics get away with LOOSE BALL FOULS which is an ABSURD advantage for a team.

Not to mention the Hawk players can't breathe on them.

Again, we would not win this series outright, but these refs have made something highly improbable to downright impossible.

all you need to look at is game 2. the no call on Smith and the flagrant on Posey. the refs in this series are a joke, your right, just not the way your making it out to be.

Through the first 2 games of the series Boston has been called for 54 fouls. Atlanta has been called for 40. You fail. Epic fail actually. I've watched both games and it can be argued the scores would be even MORE lopsided for the Celtics if the refs haven't been favoring Atlanta.

This one always threatened a sweep.

For Atlanta's sake (and perhaps Boston), a Hawks victory would do a lot for a team that has been longing for the playoffs AND also Boston - no complacency please!

Boston isn't the Pistons. Complacency isn't a worry this season.

If the Hawks win tonight I'll use the Pierce's back after getting body slamed [no flagrant 2, btw but LeBron's was] excuse.

Not the complacency one.

But honestly this is a reasonably big game for the Celtics tonight. They can back ATL into a corner with a win on their HC and Monday being game 4.

If BOS does sweep ATL they will get some sizeable off time with WAS and CLE battling it out.... if WAS can win the next game at least it will be a pretty big advantage.

Give Pierce some time to recover the right way with his back and I never know about Ray Allen.

^^^ How the hell was Pierce bodyslammed? Smith fell on him! Is he supposed to defy gravity and not land on Pierce?

You believe everything you read? That's a problem.

Body slam- the application of techniques that involve lifting the opponent up and throwing or slamming him or her down.

He landed on him, that is not a body slam. If he body slammed him he would have picked him up and slammed him on the groun and would be suspended.

What a shock that the Herald called it a body slam, they also called the Hawks the "worst team in the NBA." Just more reason to read the Globe.
