Looks like it might be Atlanta in 8 after all.

I agree with Kenny, Boston played well enough to win, but Joe Johnson was to good.....

case in point...

Ray Allen 8-14, 21 Pts 2 Rebs, 4 Assists
Rajon Rondo 14 points ,12 Assists
KG 9-21FG, 6 Satl, 20 points
Paul Pierce 18 points, 4 -7 3Pt
Joe Johnson 20 points in the fourth Q

They lost. They obviously didn't play well enough to win. It's not like Joe was just jacking up three's. He was taking them to school. He basically ended Leon Powe's career in a span of about 5 seconds, stripped Posey of his defensive prowess, and scarred Ray Allen for life.

Played well enough to win? KG was getting schooled by Josh Smith, Pierce did nothing, and Allen looked clueless on defense.

Hell. Yes.

You know, I really didn't think Joe Johnson was that good. Looks like I was wrong.

Go Hawks!

what did Joe do to Powe?

The sign Pierce made is his typical I'm going to score for 3 points, however apparently that is a gang sign so I may have misunderstood it? I think he was fined for walking over to half-court during the timeout instead of to his bench rather then 3 sign.

And no this was a good enough game for BOS to win. ATL just beat us with our own game in the fourth [one and out defense, plus executing offense]

I don't understand why Doc put House in out of nowhere in the fourth quarter? I thought that was a weird substitution.

They had no timeouts and needed a 3 point shot.

There's not much House is good for. He's got a JR Smith mindset, a JR Rider brain, a Rider Strong body, and a strongly lacking point guard skill set.

Hawks was always a "very good" point guard away from being a solid playoffs team and Bibby gives them little bit of everything.

So Pierce disappears (how many free throws did he miss?) and shows his immaturity in the playoffs. So what else is new? So Rivers' rotations are abominable. What else is new?

Tony Allen was a roration player all year and is by far their best defender. So if course he gets a DNP on a night when they are getting destroyed by Joe Johnson.

This Celtics team was overhyped and overrated. If they can't stop Joe Johnson, how can they expect to stop LeBron James, Kobe Bryant or even Hedo Turkoglu?

"It's really win or go home now," Celtics guard Rajon Rondo said. "We don't want what happened to Dallas last year."

wow they shouldnt even be thinking like that

Well, 49% were wrong. I thought the Celtics would win in 5. I was wrong too.

All this "ubuntu" crap from Rivers is no substitute for making the right coaching decisions.

Zaza going nose to nose with KG was hilarious.

KG is real menacing when he's barking and yelling, but when you see him actually start to get into a confrontation, i can't help but laugh each time. You saw him just sort of wilt away during that whole thing. See also, KG's "fight" with McDyess, where he makes sure to backpedal first then throw an empty punch that had no hope of reaching mcdyess.
