Yep because its extremely easy to detect any sarcasm on a message board, especially with the amount of whining coming from the Magic fans the past day. :nonono:

Honestly... if you won't look at my aforementioned post, then i'll repeat/expand it......

Many Magic fans are venting after a loss.

You want them to stop.

Yet you incite more frustration by calling Magic fans babies/whiners/ect....which may be true....

But this even further incites a larger negative reaction from some of them, leading to much more whining and frustration.

My personal feeling is that the Magic blew their chances by turning it over in critical situations.... it is not a tainted win for you guys....the series is rightfully 2-0.

There has been alot of overreaction from Magic fans.....but some Pistons fans want them to shut up, and that won't happen when they start throwing out insults, saying "how many championships have you won", or posting pictures of babies and tissues....

And don't claim innocence on the matter, it's not just you that i'm addressing.....but a bunch of guys have been adding fuel to the fire..... that cannot be denied.... cause i'll just pull out a few quotes from this thread.....and then my friend, you will officially be....

Thats all any Pistons fans truely even want to hear is that the call was bad but it didn't decide the game. I can't speak for all of our Pistons poster, but the majority of our posters that have been on here for a while feel the same way you do. That is that we feel the call at the end of the 3rd quarter was bad but it didn't ultimately decide the game.

There is no need to go through and pull quotes, there are ballboys that jump on the bandwagon of teams every year and those are likely the ones you are referring to about throwing fuel on the fire. As I said earlier, the majority of the respectable Pistons posters feel there was a bad call but it wasn't the only bad call of the game and it wasn't the deciding factor in the Pistons gaining the victory last night.

Good game pistons, the better team won tonight

I really think we're in for a series, I see Rashard and Hedo getting their acts together in Orlando. May the better team win.

hmm, this civil thing is kind of nice.

Time for some people to be educated.

The officials WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE POINTS OFF THE BOARD because it was a shot clock issue due to human error. That's the actual league rule regarding this type of situation.

Let me type that again...

BY LEAGUE RULE, THE OFFICIALS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE POINTS OFF THE BOARD. They couldn't choose to replay the possession. All they could do is estimate what time remained.

So the shot clock operator screwed the Magic, and it was because one of the officials exhaled into his whistle loudly enough that the shot clock operator thought it had been blown.

If Magic fans don't want it rubbed in, stop blaming the Pistons players/organization and insulting the fans.

rofl that is what i find hilarious
Wrong about what? I'm sorry, has any Piston poster said it was a good call?

Am I in crazy land?

1.)ALL PISTON POSTERS AGREE. BAD CALL

2.)Piston fans state that the no-defense playing, three-point chucking, center cant shoot past 5-feet, coach looks like a **** pornstar from the 80's, Magic could have won the game but screwed it all up like everyone thought they would, and we somehow agree with the call?

FACE IT. YOUR TEAM SCREWED IT UP.

The league issued a statement today saying that the officials followed proper procedure last night in allowing the basket to count at the end of the 3rd quarter. The play could not have been done over and instant replay could not be used either since the clock wasn't at all zeros.

there was a whole quarter left to be played, yea its an awful call. But I believe the Pistons would have still taken care of business in the 4th, live by the 3 you die by the 3

There were calls. But at the same time we were winning by 4, and we poorly executed at the end of the game. Plus we had so many turnovers

That's a fact that MANY people seem to be overlooking. The Magic had a 4-point lead in the 4th AFTER the call.

Of course the league issued that statement. They have to cover their ass

And this is the second time this season they have had to defend themselves over a controversial play involving Orlando.....both times, we got a raw deal....(this and the Foyle tip)

Not to mention earlier in the year when Billups took 5 steps before hitting the game tying three......

Eh, whatever, i'm used to being screwed by now... most teams go through something like this during the course of a season....it's expected.

Whether or not this one had any bearing on the final score......ehhh, nobody can say..... we had some tough breaks and bad plays down the stretch....

Wow. This is the most severe case of selective quoting I've ever seen. Can we get to the crux of the statement, please?
