I feel sorry for Horford and his rookie year. He has already committed two flagrant fouls in his first year and didn't get ROY. Of course, this one shouldn't have been a flagrant IMO, but I hope he doesn't change his attitude like Kwame Brown or something because of this.

Refs are screwing the Hawks. They call a walk on Horford where he was pulled by Rondo .. Then the 3 that Ray Allen hit, he took like 12 steps.. Flagrant was BS.

I knew the reffing was going to really favor the Celtics after Joe Johnson was called for his second on that Powe flop, no way the hawks pull off a win.

Horford didn't go for the ball at all and smacked Garnett in the back of the head, making him fall down. Calling a flagrant for that type of thing is pretty standard. Horford seems to smack people in the back of the head a lot rather than trying to block the shot (see: TJ Ford).

It WAS a flagrant - he grabbed KG over the shoulders just to avoid being dunked on: If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul--penalty (1) will be assessed.".

Come on, even if you hate the Celtics or KG you can't tell with a straight face that wasn't a flagrant!

Yeah, just like the one they called travel on Horford when Rondo was pulling Horford's arm and shoulder. I guess Rondo supposes to get a flagrant too.

Take off you glasses man! These types of contacts happen all the time. The player who is defending hold the opposing player in order to avoid chances of and 1. You can't call people flagrant foul for that.

I'll give you the flagrant but doesn't excuse:

Rondo foulding Horford and the Travel call

Ref saying its Celts ball while players are still battling for it and Powe clearly touched it last

BS 4 and Zero loose ball bailout

BS offensive foul on Joe Johnson on the flop

This officiating has been atrocious but it's to be expected. Can't let the lowly Hawks beat this team with all of its prestige

No surprise that you ignore the Hawks shooting twice as many free throws and the horrible foul call on Perkins where he knocked the ball out of bounds of Smith and instead of it being Celtics ball with Perkins having 2 fouls, Perkins has 3 and Smith hits 2 free throws. There was also a charge on Childress that was ruled a block on Pierce. The refs are hardly the reason the Hawks are losing.

With that said, that wasn't a flagrant. KG sold it big time and the refs bought it. I've never understood why refs change their minds whether the foul is flagrant or not based on whether a player is taking a while to get up or not. Call it right away, as 99% of the league acts or flops now and you just can't go by that.

QFT
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Please. Al Horford is a winner, as seen by him being the leader of those two National Championship teams. He's hardly a Kwame Brown.

Just because the Celtics are fouling more than the Hawks, the Celtics should get the benefit of BS calls and ignoring Celtics fouls to even things out.

Just ask any Celtics fan though, they feel they are the ones getting the bad end of the fould calls since they have shot less free throws.

Any other player, and I mean any other player would have been thrown out for jawin at the ref like KG just did right there. Refs look intimidated.

There you go. That clearly should have been a charge.
