How? By taking 7 games to beat a 30 win team? By passing up 4th quarter shots? This shouldn't have gone past 5 games max.

Embarrassment and Elimination are a good motivator.

But, it's my impression that the Celtic were unmotived the entire 2nd half of the season. THeir play in the first 6 games of the playoffs was no different than their regular season play for at least half the season.
You could definitely say that about a lot of their games but they did show up for quite few like the ones against the texas triangles.

Also lol at Boston chanting MVP for both Pierce and KG.

Perhaps you haven't watched the rest of the season when Stern and his minions weren't trying to revive every franchise Boston played against on the road.

Actually I live in Boston and watched 90% of their games this season. But thanks for trying.

Nah KG is pretty dark, you really can't mistake him for anyone else.

Still not impressed by Boston. Only winning at home. 7 games to beat the Hawks. They are not ready...

People read too much into this going 7 games. 1 series usually doesn't have much to do with how things go the next series.

Garnett should be suspended for 2games after that K-mart like pick he gave Zaza.

IF the Celts couldn't stop Joe Johnson. . .I don't see how on earth they are going to stop LeBron who has better shooters

Dang...The Hawks should be congratulated on making it this far, but this game is just embarassing. 45 points at the start of the 4th Q? Wow.
We have met the enemy, and he is us.

Ray Allen couldn't guard Joe Johnson. We couldn't put Posey in because we needed Ray for offense. We couldn't switch Pierce onto Joe because then Ray would have to guard another mismatch. Pierce will not stop LeBron but he will be do a damn good job(hopefully). Everyone else just needs to stay a little bit in front of their man. The Cavs shooter need a lot of room to be effective. On the flip side who's gonna guard KG? Ray?Even Rondo is gonna have an advantage IMO.

Whats KG going to do, score 25 points on jumpshots? He's not a mismatch on offense.

Missed the whole game, and happy to see the score at the beginning of the game.

Thank God for Defense, and the home-court advantage.
Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

Again, you can't compare this series to the next. The Cavs are a much different team.

That's just an ignorant statement. If you think KG isn't a mismatch on offense you know nothing about basketball.
