Well... people look different at different ages. Some people look like they are twenty when they are 13, and we are not sure what exactly were the circumstances in them getting together. There def. could have been better judgement, no matter the circumstances.
However... the dead-beat dad part, yeah... thats spot on. Not only not being part of the childs life at all, but then later when you are basically swimming in cash, not to at least kick some of that into a college fund or something. Thats downright despicable.

Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more.

I just vehemently disagree here. She had either just turned 13 a few months ago, or was 12. 12. She may not look 12, but she doesn't look 20. I've never mistaken a 12 year old for 20. Not only that, but at that age, you can tell just by SPEAKING with someone that they're below 15. I don't think there's any doubt at such an age that Malone knew what was going on and didnt care.

Bell is the son of Malone, but the Mailman had no role in Bell"Swing low, sweet chariots"

404 error on the link...
Also, how do we know they are not lying. People say that the Pope has a son in Brazil, I mean people make up stuff.
And also, during those times, it doesn't seem so unusual for sex between 5 or 4 years separation so different.
Anyways, Karma didn't treat him good, cause he got no rings afterall.

He deserved it on court.. I don't think his legacy in that sense is or should be broken by this. It is kinda like us saying that Wilt Chamberlain is any less of a player because he committed adultery and what not. That is not the point. The point is that his reputation and integrity as a social human being is marked with an asterix because of his silly actions.
Tell me, do you think any less of Dwight Howard because he also knocked up one of the cheerleaders while he has his own family? It is more often than we like it to be, but again, legacy on court can't be taken away.
As a said, karma paid off, and no championships for the dirty mailman. He is lucky Chris Hansen wasn't alive back then.

I'm 20 right now, and I couldn't imagine even looking at a 12 year old and thinking anything sexual..what the ****?..
those 2004 Lakers must have had some weird sex orgies..
You're 20 now, it's time to grow up!

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Slight difference when you're knocking up 12 year olds then not even taking responsibility for it.
