Kobe is owning the Jazz as expected but their defense is not helping Kobe. What's funny is Sloan never tries to double the best offensive player in the league! Is he really believing that he can stop him with Brewer or Kirilenko? Grumpy Sloan is so stubborn!

He figures that he is going to make kobe beat them by himself rather than letting anyone else get in a groove

This is why I keep saying

1) The lakers CANNOT win the titel. They can't get ANY stops or rebounds consistently for 48 minutes.

2) That LBJ no matter HOW bad he shoots, OR MJ for that matter ALWAYS had the great D and reboudning to either BRING them back OR keep it close when the superstar was sucking that night.

Kobe???

He could score EVERY F'in possession and we STILL cant get a stop.

What a PATHETIC team.

All I EVERRRRR Said was, GET Kobe a team that could defend and rebound like their life depended on it, and he'd deliver you MULTIPLE Titles.

What a pathetic Laker team man.

In the second quarter, when Boozer was fouled on a drive and didn't get the call, Hubie immediately said that refs are consistent and don't call this on the LA as well (but didn't really specified).

Pau Gasol GARBAGE.

Laker Defense, mediocre. Right now if that was MJ, the score woudl be TIED, the air in the building would be deflated and the other team would lose COMPLETE confidence.

I feel SO SORRY for Kobe that he'll never TRULY get to be on a dominant dominant defensive team like AI was in Philly, OR LBJ is in Cleveland OR MJ had under Bach in Chicago.

Ever since PJ lost Bach in Chicago, PJ's teams have been mediocre defensivley save one year in LA.

They alwasy have a GREAT offense, but a mediocre D.

You cant win titles with a mediocre D man. YOu just cant.

We can't expect Kobe to hit every shot, so someone else better step up.

With that being said, 6 straight makes for Kobe.
