I made this comment before game 4

magicfan4life05 wrote:this is a silly observation, but does anyone think sheed's obvious tight relationship is disturbing his play on the court?

Lindsay Hunter and Rip Hamilton were upset sheed was hugging kg after the game they lost, hunter said 'they are at battle now, after the series do w/e, not now'

this is eerily similar to last year game 6 against the cavs, 7 techs and you suspended, sheed has 5 techs going in and got 2 and was ejected in that game, , and he got it in that game but it didnt matter

he has 6 going into tomorrows game...

will history repeat itself?

The fourth quarter of game 5 shows that they have the ability to lose one at home on their own demerits. The Pistons are a good enough team to capitalize on Boston's mental weakness.

Fact: Who cares if they don't "look like a championship team" to you. "Ability" to lose? Fact: They did not lose. Stick with the facts. I and they don't deal with "abilities". What good is "ability" if it didn't happen? Until it actually happens, then someone/you can something about their "ability" to lose. But, nope they didn't. At least not game 5.

"The Pistons are a good enough team to capitalize on Boston's mental weakness." ... ?!? Huh ....!?!?! Fact: The Pistons did not capitalize, because Boston was the better team and better executing team last night. Bottom line. End of story.

We'll go game by game and assess each game individually. Until the Pistons win out in 7, then all of this means nothing. (and vice versa) 8)

Boston isn't going to win unless Rivers is willing to use his bench. His ironmen were obviously exhausted in the 4th quarter on Wednesday, which allowed Detroit to get back into the game. You could see the Celtics resting on defense and letting the Pistons get uncontested shots.

The Pistons still have a very good chance to win this series.

Yes, Ray Allen has barely put together 2 decent games rather then two good games this series.

So if Rip doesn't play, and Ray Allen doesn't show up. Then Stucky at SG, with Hunter playing as many minutes as last game to make up the diffrence and DET still has a chance.

But honestly who gets knocked out of a playoff game due to being hurt by the air? I mean he was choking Ray Allen whoes skin I personally believe is as soft as Charmin. I would be shocked, SHOCKED if Rip didn't play tonight and played well.

RICHARD RIP HAMILTON IS A GO TONIGHT!!!

Hamilton says he's 'ready to go' as Pistons try to stay alive in East finals

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Detroit Pistons and their fans received good news Friday after Richard Hamilton proclaimed himself "ready to go" for Detroit's must-win Game 6 tonight against the Boston Celtics.

"I have no choice. This is do or die," Hamilton, who suffered a strained right elbow near the conclusion of the Pistons' Game 5 loss in Boston, said after the team's shootaround Friday.

"Once I get out there and the adrenaline is going, I'll be fine," Hamilton said. "I told my teammates, 'Don't look at me as handicap.' ... I'm fine. I'm ready to roll."

Detroit's leading scorer strained his elbow in the final seconds of Boston's 106-102 win on Wednesday night. X-rays were negative, and Hamilton's arm was in a sling as he left the arena. He finished with 25 points.

Detroit needs a win to extend the Eastern Conference finals to a seventh game. Hamilton leads the Pistons in the series with 22.2 points per game.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

I don't like where this Rip thing is headed. A Rip Hamilton who can't shoot is way worse than starting Stuckey (or Afflalo for that matter).
