So I guess defense doesn't matter? KG is the reason why the Celtics defense is what it is. Plus he can score. That enough for me.

Pierce is their scorer but thats about it.

KG importance >>>>Pierce importance

Huh? Feeling like they lost the game? If that is the case then I guess they have to win game 3, right?

It is simple. If celtics play defense they have a great chance of winning. If they don`t lakers can get in a three point frenzy...

Nice win! It was closer that it should be but the most important thing is we are up 2-0. Now let`s win game 3!!!

Go, C`s!

LOL...

You probably don't mean that. Celts are up 2-0...blew out the Lakers but they screwed up down the stretch. I don't think you believe you lose the game just because a team makes a run at you and come back from down 20. Its the Finals...teams don't give up. The Lakers didn't tie it...they got within a possession but they did not win.

It's not match ups that's hurting them on D, it's just bad team D. They don't move to the open man. Pierce had about 5 or 6 wide open shots. I mean, did you see the Celts 3 point %? Wide open shots, it astounds me. That Powe play was hands down the worst defensive breakdown I have ever seen. The guy gets the ball at half court, dribbles right down the middle of the court, and dunks it in spite of being completely uncontested by 3 lakers standing their watching him.

I don't care how bad the refs were, and they were bad, that kind of play is a freaking joke. There's no excuse.

Not to mention that Powe always looks like he weighs 500 lbs running the court. Inexcusable really.

OMG can you Lakers fans stop crying? It's called home court advantage. It is going to happen for the next 3 games. It happened to you guys big time when you played Sacramento in the WCF. Stop whining. My goodness.

Sweet. And if it favors us in LA the next 3 games ..Boston fans wont complain?

You are just ignorant. Geniuses like you think scoring is only thing that matters in a game. Interior defense is pretty damn important.

Are you telling me the Celtics minus KG are better than the Celtics minus Pierce?

If so you know nothing about basketball.

Other than the Radman travel, nothing went the Lakers way. And look at it like this, if the officiating would have been better, then the game would have been closer throughout, instead of forcing the Lakers to come back from 24 pts...........which also means that Radman would never have gotten a chance to travel, because that play would never have taken place.

I have said in probably 5 threads that the referees have been favoring the home teams in the entire postseason. I also said I am fine with the officiating tonight as long as it is equally lopsided in favor of the Lakers in L.A. I believe I said it on page 53 and again on page 80 something. But still, it shouldn't have to be that way. If they just call it equally for both the home and road team, then this series is tied up right now.

Flakers got jobbed by the refs in the first half. They didn't help that situation by settling for jumpers though. And their defense is full of holes.

Fourth quarter was an aberration when Boston played lapsed D, and gave LA free threes, and it almost cost the Celtics the game (stupid Doc, not readying his players and making them keep their feet down on LA).

However, LA is overmatched defensively in this series. BOS in 4-5, depends on how much momentum LA got tonight, but the series is pretty much decided, imo.

Damn Laker fans whinning up a storm right now. One Laker fan complaining about homecourt. However wasnt that the case when the Lakers got every call there way? and Kobe was shooting 20 free throws by himself against Denver and Utah?

Is there anything more satisfying to watch than seeing LA fans cry like babies? This entire decade no team has benefited more from poor officiating in crucials games then them. Heck, they at least owe one of their championships to the refs. Now it's just so sweet to see them cry like this. More games like this PLEASE!! Won't make up for the atrocities we saw earlier this decade, but it will at least be something.

What's funny is Wilbon is doing it too. His bias is so transparent.
