The Nets blow a 20 point 4th quarter lead in the ECF against the Celtics and lost, going down 2-1. What happened in the series? Did the huge mental boost carrying the Celtics? No. The Nets won the next three and went onto the Finals. The lesson? Do not read too much into teams blowing 4th quarter leads/

28 FT discrepancy.

2 FT's TOTAL for the Lakers in the 1st half, 1 of which was a Technical.

Enjoy your * game Celtic fans. That was not a real game, that WWE entertainment.

David Aldridge telling it like it is. When you are aggressive you get the foul calls.

He's doing it because it's the truth. The officiating was horrible. Anyone who watched the game could see that. However, the main reason for the Lakers' loss was their terrible D.

He was shooting free-throws because they were fouling him. 99% of those were legit. Likewise 99% of the free-throws that Boston got were legit, however, the Lakers not getting to the line was simply bad officiating.

WE CANNOT KEEP PLAYING RADMANOVIC HUGE NUMBERS

You know man, usually I'd agree with you but hell... who the hell else are we going to play? Ariza? Sasha? Walton? lol as funny as it is, Radman is better overall than all of them, he just brings more to the table(ugh I know that sounds crazy but it's true). The thing about Rad is he isn't consistent, but we hardly lose anything compared to those others players I named when he's in there.

TradeMachine wrote:Flakers got jobbed by the refs in the first half. They didn't help that situation by settling for jumpers though. And their defense is full of holes.

Fourth quarter was an aberration when Boston played lapsed D, and gave LA free threes, and it almost cost the Celtics the game (stupid Doc, not readying his players and making them keep their feet down on LA).

However, LA is overmatched defensively in this series. BOS in 4-5, depends on how much momentum LA got tonight, but the series is pretty much decided, imo.
sshhhhh! your objectivity will make you a flaker fan in the eyes of the high horse riding Celtics fans.

Yes we get it, is that like the 14th time you've mentioned it?

And Lakers fans, who cares about the officiating? f88k them, the Lakers didn't play hard enough on defense and didn't deserve to win much like the Spurs in game 4!!!

Lets look forward to game 3,4,5 at home! And **** these haters whining about other people whining about officiating, yes you HouMac (you seems to make appearance when Lakers aren't doing well, what a surprise)!!! Who's planning on making a appearance? I'm guessing Miami's Finest will be coming back again soon, and Trademachine already came in, BringThePain already did!

Leon Powe outworked the Lakers in the paint and was getting fouled because he played in the inside. Try it again and stop complaing about the refs now. I seen a bunch of times in the playoffs were Kobe was handed 20 free throws in the first two rounds. Yeah sure he was fouled but many of the calls was terrible and the funny thing is not one Laker fan said anything because it went into you guys favor. You are the same guys that were saying how the Gasol trade was fair too.

LOL at people talking about taking something from the 4th. Yes, if Boston quits playing LA can score.

Sure he has, but he wasn't complaining when Jordan got every single call in the finals. But of course Jordan didn't just settle for jump shots, like a certain other shooting guard.

Wrong, Tom thibodeau is the reason the Celtics defense is what it is

Coaching doesn't matter more than personnel. Espically an assistant coach. Phil Jackson had Kwame Brown and Smush Parker and they sucked. Now he has Gasol and they are better.

Diminishing KG's importance doesn't make any sense. Watch KG on defense and tell me he isn't the conerstone of that defense.

Dude seriously, you have to give the Lakers some credit. Even when Boston turned it back on the Lakers still continued to pressure.

All jokes a side the Celtics was more aggresive attacking while you guys was settling for to many jump shots.

Personally I think this helps the Celtics more. Losing a big lead shows they can't just assume a game is over. They had a 18 point lead in the 4th against Detroit in game 5 at home and Detroit cut it to 1 before the Celtics won by 4 and then they won the next game on the road.

Also the Lakers blew a big lead to Utah in game 6 in the 4th and managed to hold on and the week before the playoffs started the Lakers blew like a 27 point lead to New Orleans to win by 3. It doesn't matter, because teams blow leads all the time. One team stops playing and another begins to play harder.

Ask yourself, you really think the Lakers could score 41 points in 1 quarter against the Celtics when they had only scored 42 in one half and 37 in the 2nd half last game?

That should tell you the Celtics let up on them.
