[ESPN]Memphis-Mini. 8 players, Mayo, MIller

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't holding onto O.J. Mayo for long.

Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights of Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

great all the excitement happens when everybodys about to sleep, I was dozing off and heard this.

I dont know why the Twolves do this, I think Mayo will be a much better player and they should traded some of their other guards.

I just saw this on ESPN.

Holy crap! I wouldn't of done it if I was Minnesota.

By the way, can Jefferson play the 5?

I'll post in yours since yours was two minutes earlier. I think this is a good deal for both teams. Minnesota had a gluttony of guards and needed a post player, while Mayo fits well with Memphis.

The first thing that went through my mind when I heard it was I had a feeling that Rudy Gay was being shipped to Minnesota. Good for Memphis.

Love, Jefferson, and Walker? How is that going to work? Minnasota is as bad as New York organization.

Now Memphis is putting together a solid team. The Gasol trade leaves everyone speechless though.

PG Conley Jr.
SG Mayo
SF Gay
PF Warrick
C Darko

Now go get a PF/C

It gets worse for Mayo. Who wants to play in Memphis. McHale is the worst GM in the history of the NBA.

I really don't see the fit Love has next to Jefferson defensively at least...They do pick up Lowry and Miller though.

As a Memphis fan, I feel a little better about not getting CDR.

Where are you getting Lowry from? Minnesota got Jason Collins not Kyle Lowry.

Yeah I kind of like Memphis now.

Now does Minny flip miller to another team? Or do they keep the vet?

Jesus, Kevin McHale is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Kevin Love and Al Jefferson do NOT fit together.

They are both offensive-oriented centers who need the ball in their hands to be successful.

Both are undersized and neither of them are good defenders.
