When will teams learn? I mean, seriously.....right now the Wizards are a slightly above .500 franchise that has a decent shot at getting out of the 1st round every year. If they sign Arenas, THEY WILL STILL BE A SLIGHTLY ABOVE .500 TEAM THAT HAS A DECENT SHOT AT GETTING OUT OF THE 1ST ROUND EVERY YEAR! Except now they will be nearing the luxury tax threshold with their real best player about to come up for FA. Then what?
Arenas has yet to show that he can be The Man on a true contender. A lot of guys can put up nasty stats on a mediocre or losing team. Lets see you do it when there are games, divisions, HCA, banners and rings to be won.
