Well the Sixers did put a legit scare on the Pistons and when you consider that they had a SF(Young) playing the 4.... maybe it is wanting him to win and is the best fit overall. He would be the 1st option on that team and wouldn't have to depend on a point guard with questionable shot selection to get him the ball.

OH...well if it's Ric Bucher, then it's probably not true. Everybody knows his sources are all a figment of his imagination...

Looks like it's pretty much a done deal.

Philly just leap-frogged Detroit, Atlanta, and Orlando and is now the clear-cut #2 team in the East.

I do feel bad for the Clips, no doubt. When I went to the TWolves board after we traded Carney and a first to them for nothing I felt a little like crap. I can't imagine what it's like to lose Brand.

That said, happy dance!

Stanford needs a new sig!

That's what people say year after year abotu Detroit, but they continue to do well....

And, where in the world did Atlanta come into your discussion from, and the #2 seed?

LAC still has a bunch of cap space to make a run at Josh Smith.

What really sucks is all of that crap about wanting to stay with Clippers if they went out and got a major FA. We did that and he bolts for $10 mil more. I don't think I will ever root for Brand again. What he did to Clipper fans is worse than what Boozer did to Cleveland.

Smith would not be half the player Brand was on this team.

I think Okafor would be a better fit.

Brand was a player I really respected for being such a class act on and off the court. After hearing this news I really hope this isn't true because I'd lose all respect for him if it were true.
