Really? That's quite a price a backup big that will plays < 15 mpg (assuming Bynum will be back healthy).

I don't expect LA to match that price.

Yeah, I guess with how stacked they are up front 4 mil is a lot for him. But who knows, it's not like a guy who does what he does is going to be any cheaper a few years from now.

Warriors are slipping. Who signs Maggette and Turiaf for more than they're worth.

WTF, overpaying Maggette and Turiaf in the same day? What the hell has Mullin been smoking or drinking today? LOL too many surprises for Golden State, at least make them GOOD surprises. I better not wake up tomorrow morning and see that we signed Mutumbo for 30 million or something.

Good deal. Not really overpaid, just enough for an effective big man and he fits nicely the system (small ball or otherwise) so Golden State did good.

i seriously doubt the lakers match that offer. turiaf was getting replaced by chris mihm in the finals because of how ineffective and foul prone he had become. with bynum back, he might not even see the court for more than a few sporadic minutes.

thats a lot of money..but then again i think hes an underrated shotblocker...give him about 25 minutes he can be top 10 in the league. But hes so passive, doesnt go up strong sometimes...

What is Mullin doing?
He was lucky to get rid of some bad contracts in Fisher / Dunleavy / Murphy and now he is stuck again with Maggette and Turiaf??

Mullin obviously has a fetish for overpriced players.

I hate to see Ronny go, but that's a bit too much.

Mullin is going to back to the old days when he gave guys like Adonal Foyle huge contracts. It's like he got better but then lost his mind again. :dontknow:

There is no way we match that. Good luck to Ronny in Golden State. I'll always be a big fan of his.

As a Warrior fan I am speechless. What in the world is Mr Flattop doing? I do not see the Lakers matching this. The Warriors will be fortunate to win 40 games with this roster. I am literally sick to my stomach. This team is worse off than the Clippers and they just lost their best player.

PG: Derek Fisher
SG: Jason Richardson
SF: Mike Dunleavy
PF: Troy Murphy
C: Adonal Foyle

That was our starting line-up a couple seasons ago; the whole starting 5 was disgustingly overpayed. Mullin made up for that by getting rid of all those big contracts and giving us great cap flexibility, and now all of a sudden he wastes a combined 67 million in one day on 2 guys who the team doesn't even need. The offseason is still very young, Mullin better have something good up his sleeve.

Damn, we don't need Turiaf. We need to give more minutes for this guy...
