No surprise that there isn't any good video of it. NOBODY watches! I feel bad for ESPN because they are forced to broadcast this.

It's going to be a case where Mahorn didn't know his own strength dealing with the women. Coaches are supposed to play peacemaker and seperate the players. Now they'll probably have to institute a rule coaches can only grab, hold, push their own players sorta deal.

At least that's what I'm hoping...
Rip Hamilton is a stain on the Pistons franchise.

I was watching it live. It was a very good game, even before the brawl. The Detroit Shock are just like the Pistons, they like to pick fights when they're losing, especially Malone's daughter Cheryl Ford.

Ford started the tension by ripping a rebound from Parker after a whistle. Moments later, another Detroit player bumped Parker pretty hard on the hip which sparked the brawl. Ford got hurt trying to restrain one of her teammates. That's too damn bad for her because she's the one who started it all in the first place.

As for that coach who supposedly pushed Leslie, after watching the ESPNews, I don't think he pushed her. I think she just lost her balance.

I try to watch Malice at the Palace at least once a month on youtube. Interesting that it's in Detroit again. Do the fans throw stuff in this video? I couldn't tell when she was walking out.

No. People were just hanging over the rails trying to touch Parker and grab her hand and stuff.

Thanks for that.

You can kinda see the Mahorn shove at 1:37 mark in the background.

what did mahorn have to do with this?

There was a Sparks player holding Lisa Leslie back it appeared.

Then Rick Mahorn is seen heading towards Lisa Leslie, and literally shoved her with two hands. Leslie falls on her ass.

Mahorn doesnt even offer to pick her up or anything. He simply shoved her, saw her fall, turned his body, and kept on with is business as if nothing happened
.

Leslie was then seen complaining to the refs about Mahorn.

She was later interviewed, ans she was clearly distraught. She was crying on the bench, and was visibly upset.

We must be watching two different videos because that isn't how it looked at all.

lmao @ how bias Kno is

I love how half the people in this thread jump to conclusions about Mahorn, his actions + "penalty/future" before seeing the clip.

I'd let Candace Parker tackle me to the floor.

I love how the WNBA tries to push gender equality, but when a fight breaks out, all anyone can talk about is a man pushing a woman, despite the fact that the woman is a man-sized professional athlete.
