I really can't get a good view on it. But Mahorn does extend his arm. To do what? I don't know.

This fight is so much better than the Knicks-Nuggets fight. There must be a better angle of Mahorn's push somewhere.

this reminds me of that boondocks episode where the white thugs try to convince a cop this arab store owner had a gun in his hand when he clearly did not...

people see what they want to see, especially when their perception reinforces whatever prejudice they may have...

all that can be said definitively from the tapes is that there was contact between leslie and mahorn. the result of that contact was leslie falling to the ground. whether it was because she stumbled or he shoved her it can't be determined from the video.

either way, the coach was trying to break it up and the players were escalating the problem by getting running into the fray...leslie in particular looked like she was out of control running up on pile...the other lady pounding on that mahorn's back was kind of funny though...better security and protocol, way too much testoterone....

In the video, Rebecca Lobo states that she saw the Mahorn-Leslie incident, and says that Mahorn did NOT push her and that Lisa Leslie just lost her balance trying to push off Mahorn. The other announcer then agrees with Rebecca Lobo and says that it what it looked like. It's a little hard to tell from all the videos that have been posted as Mahorn had his back to the camera and Laimbeer is also blocking the view.

Mahorn was just tryin to break it up. The WNBA players all think they're so tough then one of them barely gets touched and flys to the ground then starts crying. Another girl can't even stand w/o blowing her knee out. Watching the "fight" made me hate the WNBA even more. If that's possible.

I watched most of the game, and to tell you the truth, the level of play was a little better than the summer league. Less athletic obviously, but decent play calling and execution, and clutch shooting on both ends, of which none was seen through the summer league on a consistant basis... After that brawl and 30 minutes of straightening it all out, play resumed with 4.5 seconds left and the Shock player buries a three to put them within one. That's freakin ice water in her veins...

How sad is that?? I'm standing up for the WNBA. I'm JONESIN for hoops man... I need my fix I watched in person all but one day of Vegas summer league and now what do I do until November?? Olympics??? WNBA???

Oh and WNBA had this amazing idea to mic BILL LAIMBEER for the whole game. On 3 separate occasions sound on ESPN was completely muted for 10-20 seconds prolly cuz o his language. Too bad they didn't let anything slip like this:

While the brawl in Detroit was bad for the NBA, I really think this one is good for the WNBA.

I actually feel bad for Mahorn.

It seems like a strong wind could knock over Lisa Leslie.
