LMAO, you just had to include that picture, didn't you?

BTW, Bosh looks taller than Dwight in that picture. Oh yeah, USA by 20.

Just had to use that picture didn't you  oh this won't end well

On the game, the first quarter should be interesting both teams have a habit of starting slow then taking off when their bench gets involved. Spain can't afford to play like they did against China, handing this US team a double digit lead is the same as handing them the game. The US needs to come out with the same emotion they did against Greece.

Should be fun in any case, and I already got my excuse for calling out of work.

God, for a second I thought they were playing the Chinese with their eyes like that.

But in all seriousness this is going to be a really fun game to watch.

Can't wait to see the Calderon/Rubio/Lopez vs. Paul/Williams match up. Should be cool.

BTW Tayshaun is taller then Boozer.

HAHA, it didn't include the time, date, or station of the game, none of the Spanish players or coaching, but that post was solid gold bc of the pic.

Calderon goes in for the layup, Bosh comes out of nowhere to swat it from his own fellow Raptor... Oh I love em both but I'll be rooting for Bosh and team USA. :D

lol @ the spain team pic..

I fully expect the US to win this handily. Spain hasnt impressed me a lot in their last 2 outings. They got down early to both China and Germany. They obviously have some excellent players Calderon is shooting well, Rubio has been ridiculous on D but with the great ballhandlers we have, we can use his aggresiveness to our advantage as he tends to gamble and poke around a lot.

Bosh should get ready to log some heavy minutes as Melo cannot be counted on to stick Pau. CB4 wont get as many easy transition buckets cuz Pau runs the floor almost as well as he does. I'm confident Kobe will lock up Rudy. If Dwight stays out of foul trouble, he should be able to smoke their frontline with his freakish power. I want to see Melo play some SF in this game, somewhat as Lebrons backup. The spaniards have no one to counter his bulk at that position.

Simply put, we will not lose because we're way too deep and too commited to playing both ends. LeBron and Wade have that 'look'. They will simply not let us lose.

We will crush them.

I hope Ricky Rubio pans out, the NBA needs more PGs.

For any team to fall behind early to a team like China is NO contest for USA. Even if Spain's guards are better. Calderon is a star caliber PG, but unlike in the NBA, he's gonna go against Paul/Williams. Now this is the time to see if Rubio is all hype or all ball.

USA BY 20+ though, no team even comes decently close to America. It's only because in the medal rounds it's win or go home that you got to be uptight. If we played by NBA Rules, a series. It'd always be 4-1 or 4-0.

As a Raptor fan I don't know who I want to win in this game. I think USA will blow this out in second or third quarter though.

Both teams have a lot of pride but they both know this game means very little. Only way Spain can beat the Americans is if they play hard and consistent, it is not going to happen this game and has never really happened this tournament either. Plus, the Spanish coach confuses me with his hockey lineup changes.

I expect a very close game if they meet in the knockout round, that would go either way.
