Oh he is a freak, no doubt about that...but 274? come on.

This is a list of guys Lebron is easily heavier than according to reports:

Karl Malone: 6-9 256 pounds

Dwight Howard 6-11 265 pounds

Andrew Bynum 7'0 275 pounds
http://lakersblog.latimes.com/lakersblo ... ynum_4.jpg

Greg Oden 7'0 270 pounds is the last report
http://www.gregodenonline.com/images/gdo.jpg

Lebron is not bigger than he was last year. He looks the same to me. Again, I don't see how he could possibly be 274 pounds and as big or bigger than the mentioned above.

Sorry, I don't see it. He could be thick boned, but did his bones get thicker along with his muscles? I don't see the size difference from last year

Personally, I think Malone was close to 280, Dwight at 280, Bynum closer to 290, and Oden too.... Not sure I believe LeBron's, but NBA teams don't seem to update weights from what they were when the player was drafted. Hell, LeBron was 245 at the draft camp, and was still listed at 240 for a while.

If he develops a consistent jumper...good bye rest of NBA.

I don't believe those official weights like Malone being 256. According to a really reliable source inside the Cavs LeBron was 262 pounds last year. I don't want to believe that he's 274. It's too much.

Even if he looks thicker than last year, I doubt he looks thicker than Karl Malone did. Malone was big through the hips, which LBJ isn't. Their upper bodies are fairly similar, though:

Lebron is huge, but there's absolutely no way that he weighs 274. He's not 30lbs heavier than he was upon entering the league and that much is obvious just from the look of him. 264 is reasonable.

That being said, some players have been criminally underlisted in terms of weight. I mean, Shaq at 325? That's bull. He must have been 400lbs in his later years in LA.

Btw FYI it was asked to LeBron if he's really 274 and he said "No, it's just a rumour. I don't like rumours."

I think-hope he's somewhere 260-265.

I'm just pointing out that the same information has been reported by two independent sources. Generally official NBA heights and weights aren't updated from a player's rookie year, here's 250 lb Karl Malone

And here's what LeBron can do with his 260 to 274 lbs.

Wow, who gives a f*ck about his exact weight? The guy is a freak of nature physically and is currently dropping 40+ games like its nothing. I would believe a source saying he's 274 though. Its like like he's 6'5 or something, he is 6'9. The guy is a monster.

No way.

Bynum and Oden are 285.

Lebron is probably 250, not 260. 270 is ridiculous and definitely not true.

lebron was 250 in highschool. He definitely looks bigger now than he did his first couple years in the NBA. The guy is pure muscle (which weights more than fat btw).

^That gif illustrates just why Lebron James is the greatest NBA athlete of all time sans Shaq.

Nah Malone was never 280, no where near. He was around 3% body fat once. I think he weighed about the same as Lebron. While Malone had a huge upper body, maybe Lebron has other areas with more muscle (no you sickos, I don't mean that lol).

He seems much more explosive and bouncy for some reason this season. Incredible.

a lot of people are looking at upper body only, what about the legs? Not saying lebron is 274 but knowing how much of a beast he is he could have unreal quads or whatever, maybe he just has a lot of junk in the trunk.

Honestly, he'd be an absolutely amazing athlete even at 220.

More isn't always better.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

When you move at the same speed and still can dunk from the free throw line it is.
