That dunk is unreal.

I think he's 255-265. 274 just seems....really out-of-this-world. If he's 274 and can jump like that and play the way he is playing, he is probably the greatest physical outlier in nba history...shaq, wilt, and magic included. The guy is a beast.

i fear for his knees, and i've said this before.

265+ lb people aren't typically able to dunk easily from the free throw line. that's a lot of force coming down and i don't think cartilage is made for that. i will be thoroughly surprised if he doesn't need microfracture before 30.

David Robinson is an underrated athlete.
Here's the league of NBA freak athletes:
MJ
VC
Dominic
Wilt
Shaq
Magic
David Robinson
Dwight Howard
Lebron James
Dr J

I'm sure I'm missing some, but right now, one could argue Lebron is up there with Wilt and Shaq as one of the most athletic players of all time

Not a concen for me...

LeBron's legs are really in great shape...It's a much different animal here... Maybe a freak accident or something, but nothing that would stem from a chronic issue of joints or cartilage..

Karl Malone played effectively at this height and weight and was fine, and he was run up and down for years... And I think LeBron will be much more of a post player later on in his career..

There's reasons why guys like Vince Carter have these issues with their knees... I don't think LBJ will be in the same boat despite the size... He's just a freak...

I think there is Lebron, Shaq, Dwight and then there is everyone else.

Do you guys know what Bron's quads and thighs look like? Back specifically lats? Good God. It seems like most of you think that a player's weight correlates directly to his upper body. He's what 6'9" and 274, that's not hard to believe for a beast like Bron. He probably incorporated more leg work in the off-season and hit the squat rack hard maybe a couple of rows here and there.

He's not 274, but as far as physical specimens go he's right there with Wilt and the Mailman as far as perfect basketball bodies.

Guy is a freak.

lebron was 240 his senior year and his rookie year...NBA TV recently showed his first NBA game and he's A LOT bigger now than he was during that game

maybe he is 274

btw, there is no way in hell Oden weighs 280 right now...the guy has to be at least 315...he's really out of shape...look at his college photo in game then his NBA photo in game...i know OSU had adopted the really baggy jerseys for that year, but Oden's clearly got a lot more junk in his trunks this season which is completely explainable by him missing a season...

If he is that weight....he needs to protect his knees NOW. Not wait until something happens. Wear a sleeve now and dunk less. 8-)

I am a fitness coordinator and a fitness specialist, current bodybuilder. I work for Sports Club LA and hold multiple personal training certificates. No way on this EARTH is LeBron James 274lbs. Even though he is what 6'9, his frame and bone structure doesn't allow him to be at %5 bodyfat with his 6'9 frame. Media is trying to boost him that's all. All WWE wrestlers get the same attention. I know Dave Batista personally. He even told me WWE's cameras add more weight to his frame and in real life he is 280lbs, while WWE bills him at 315lbs. You're gonna tell me LeBron James is bigger than Batista. Take a look at Brock Lesnar in UFC. 285LBS but in UFC they say he's actually 265lbs. Is LeBron bigger than Brock Lesnar now ?? And also, LeBron is not 5% bodyfat. Most IFBB Professional Bodybuilders are btw 2% and 5% bf...are you going to tell me LeBron is bigger than Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman ROFL....media is so funny these days.

I'd love to see how much LeBron can squat, deadlift and bench press. Anyone knows what is workout regimen is ?

And here's a picture of me at 6', 245lbs 11% bodyfat - Trust me I do know what I'm talking about

LeBron is currently 265lbs and 7% body fat...that's from quite reliable inside source on RCF, others are just rumours.

Give or take a few pounds I was around 240-245. LeBron is not a bodybuilder, he's a basketball player. Trust me, he's not wider than me 8-)

The thing is if you watch the Cavs every night you will see Lebrons weight changes drastically during the season.

Find a picture of him at the free throw line vs the Mavs a few games ago and you might change your opinion. He was massive.
