Who gets the most calls?

KG travels on every post up and sets a lot of illegal screens. Every once in awhile he'll get called on it a lot for one game and he'll be all confused. Then back to the normal routine.

Pierce, Kobe, and Billups get the most ridiculous three point fouls. Don't get within two feet of these guys when they're in their shooting motion or the refs will do something stupid. Also don't make mild body contact after the ball has been in the air for a second or two.

Wade does get calls but they are no different than every other little guy with good handles and a mediocre jumpshot.

Tony Parker, Devin Harris, etc. They all benefit from the new rules, no one can stay in front of them and the big men get baited.

Wade stands out a little more though because he is the most elite of this genre of players.

I think Wade and Pierce get the most ticky tacky calls. Bosh gets quite a few too.

In terms of stars who get the least amount of calls, I'd say it's Yao (I've seen him basically punched in the face and not get the call) and Dwight Howard (though in Howards case, the fact that they don't call the other team for fouling him is balanced by the fact that he could almost get an offensive foul every possession but doesn't).

Well, the way Wade plays he DRAWS fouls. Say draws 1 freebie phantom foul for every 10 legit calls. He'd be better than, say Josh Howard who gets the same ratio, but Wade does it OFTEN and almost ALL the time.

How do the celts get all the calls? They play physical and aggressive like you are supposed to. Although, Pierce gets a lot of crap calls that aren't really fouls.

Wade is just aggressive. He's the most aggressive player in the league at going to the rim. He may some calls at times, but most are legit.

On offense, Kobe does the "ayy!!!" lol, but honestly, from what I see, it rarely works. I really don't think Kobe gets a lot of calls for him either. Nothing out of the ordinary at least.

Duncan gets help on defense. Shaq gets help on offense and defense....but he also gets screwed equally as much on offense and defense. He's probably the most difficult player to referee in league history.

I think the thread is talking about players getting calls they don't deserve. If it wasn't you could just look at who takes the most FTs this year and already know the answer to the question.

Anyway I agree that Wade gets calls, but none of them are really undeserved. He drives relentlessly and no one can stay in front of him so they usually have to foul. Its really that simple. I haven't seen Wade get one call where there was no contact the way people make it seem. I've seen him get some calls where there wasn't a lot but that happens with every single superstar. All Kobe has to do is scream "AYY!!" as he shoots and they'll blow the whistle. LeBron can push off and barrell through his defender and nothing will be called. He can also travel ridiculously, barely get touched as he goes up for a dunk, and get an and 1. Pierce can flail his arms out wildly after releasing a jumper and get a call. I mean it happens with every star.

Wade gets a phantom foul at 10%. So does Josh Howard or any (insert sg here).

Thing is Howard only drives in 50 times in 10 games. Whereas Wade Drives in 500 times in 10 games.

Get the picture? Of course wade will get more calls.

Lebron James bar none. The guy travels on almost every other play. Not to mention anytime he goes to the rim contested 70% of the time there will be a foul.

The Spurs as a team get alot of calls because they whine like b*tches every time a call goes against them.

For those saying McGrady, Yao, or Dwight Howard you should really try watching these players plan. McGrady doesn't even penetrate so he doesn't even qualify. Yao and Howard should be shooting 20+ FTs a game the way they get molested in the post.
