http://www.charlotteobserver.com/breaki ... 00489.htmlFor possible collapsed lung. Damn, that hit by Bynum may have been pretty serious.
Hope he is OK.

I've complained about the league getting soft regarding contact, but a dirty play is a dirty play. I'm tired of watching guys like Shaq and Bynum knocking guys in the air when they're vulnerable, especially when they have no intention of making a play on the ball. Especially Bynum. He looked like he was just reaching looking to hit Wallace somewhere more than to prevent a basket.

Whoa! A collapsed lung? I don't how is that possible unless Bynum struck Crash really hard around his ribcage area. Damn, that sucks. Hopefully, he recovers from this. A collapsed lung is really serious and scary.

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/breaki ... 00489.htmlJust a picture.. obviously it's seen that Bynum makes it on purpose. He has no chance to stop Wallace, he is standing on the ground and just hits the elbow, trying to hurt Wallace.
Awful. Altough Bynum is good player, that kind of plays make him total d**khead.

don't jump to conclusions just yet. from the very link in the OP.
An X-ray at Staples Center indicated no fracture, but as a precaution, Wallace is going to get a second X-ray at the hospital.

that photo is a bit misleading as it was taken after the contact caused Bynum to turn away from the play. Hopefully there is a photo or video from the other side of the basket taken as the contact happened to get a clearer view of what happened..

I watched the game and when you are up to insane dunk and some dude just elbows your into chest, being on the ground, then I don't need to think twice..

Bynum seems to have a tendency to swing those arms a little wildly on some of his fouls...I get he wants to play physical but needs to be careful he doesn't get a rep for doing that IMO. He's so big even if he doesn't use much force he can take somebody out pretty easily in mid-air

Wish the best for Wallace.
I don't think Bynum meant to injure Wallace, but I could see a possible suspension coming.

Elbow to the thorax with no intention to make a play at the ball. Looks worse every time I see it.
