It looked really bad. Lakers come to Memphis, and some of the Grizz' patented snake-bitten luck rubs off on you, go figure.

You're right for me, my friend. I will be frustrated to no end if this is serious. I made him a keeper on my fantasy team and he was a disappointment up until the last week where he was playing like a monster (like I knew he was capable of playing).

I'm sorry, someone had to say it.

I wish him the best and hope it's not serious.

Ya it is and your a [EDIT: Watch the name calling] for saying it.
Nobody with class and morals would ever wish harm pain and suffering on anyone.
What happened with Wallace was an accident and it wasnt intenional, but its just sad that you can actually consider this Karma.
Oh well, it is what it is.
But keep in mind without Bynum we made it to the finals last year, and even if thats the case were still going to make it to the finals this year.......... Book it, and keep the hate alive all it does is make things more interesting.
As far as me, I never wish anything bad or harm on anyone, but then thats just me.

I'm totally confused guys. So it is ok to purposely slam your forearm and elbow into a guys chest when he is in the air with enough force to break his rib if you are sorry about it? Stupidest *** I've ever heard.

You either foul going up for the ball, or you gtfo of the way. I'm sure while Bynum was layin their screaming he though at least for a second how thanks to him Wallace was doing the exact same thing a few days ago. That is karma. Bynum is a punk

I've never seen so many (Please Use More Appropriate Word) people in my life. What a coincidence, they all know nothing about the sport and follow a horrible expansion team

so according to your logic Kobe purpously hurt Bynum...

dude, take off the Homer glasses. that elbow was unintentional, but it was an elbow never the less and it was dangerous and yes Wallace got hurt. with that said the intent to hurt him was not there so stop Drama Queening it.

if anything I would have a better chance at believing that it has to do more with "cycles" as in history repeats it self. last year he got hurt in January, in Memphis, in the first quater, when a team mate landed on his knee, just when he had put a string of six really big games.

Michael Redd had a "sprained knee" and walked off the court on his own power. Then they figured out he had a torn ACL and MCL the next day. Just saying..

You are right CatNation. Its all about Karma.

I realize Raja Bell wasnt on your team at the time. So, shall we wait for the Karma police to pull his card for his intentional fouls?

Let me know how the Karma thing works. thx

I'm really looking forward to these MRI results. Anybody know when they're are doing the MRI tests? Hopefully all goes well for Bynum and he's back in a few weeks.

shame on all of you in this thread

its very unfortunate that both Wallace and Bynum got hurt this past week. one should never, ever wish injury on any player, let alone BLAME another player for another getting hurt.

A player should be judged by his action, not the outcome of it. If you don't agree, then you're implying Bynum is a dirtier player than Bowen who has never hospitalized anyone.

No one said it's okay for Bynum to stick his elbow out, but there are worse elbowing flagrants, and in this case, Bynum could have ran toward Gerald as opposed to sideways, and god forbid if Bynum actually applied force to his elbow. He would have done so if he was clearly aiming for his lungs. And talking about inexcusable acts, what about Morrison's foul on Gasol? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfCWGngcHA8. Gasol was wide open under the basket, Morrison was 3 steps behind and had no chance to stop the basket, so he decide to hit Gasol on the head. Bynum's foul was from indecisiveness, Morrison was actually determined to hit Gasol on a play that was beyond saving. The only way to actually get to him was either going for the head or tackle him to the ground. Do you applaud such act because the hard foul didn't seriously hurt someone?

If Bynum deserve a 10 game suspension like some Bobcat fans said, Morrison should have been suspended for the entire season.

Bynum had the exam done earlier in the day, but his doctor, David Altchek, hadn't returned to New York from a trip to an unspecified place, meaning the results were still not known when the team convened at a local sports club in the middle of the afternoon on a bright New York day
just read that in the LA times website.

if he hurts him why not? It is comletely legitimate then. Especially elbow into the chest. Or has it to be a Kermit-like action for people to be allowed to blame the fouling player? This wasn't unintentional move, not saying he wanterd to send Wallace to hospital, but intent was there, unbiased peole should admit it.

I agree with the first part about not wishing injury on another player. But, in certain situations players need to be blamed if they injure another player. Again, I'm not saying Bynum should be blamed for Wallaces injury, but some players need to be blamed for certain injuries.
