As horrible as it is to have a career ending injury, Bynum had it coming. It is what it is.

its very unfortunate that both Wallace and Bynum got hurt this past week. one should never, ever wish injury on any player, let alone BLAME another player for another getting hurt.
if he hurts him why not? It is comletely legitimate then. Especially elbow into the chest. Or has it to be a Kermit-like action for people to be allowed to blame the fouling player? This wasn't unintentional move, not saying he wanterd to send Wallace to hospital, but intent was there, unbiased peole should admit it.

Okay Doc, whatever you say.
SO Bynum intentionally tried to hurt Wallace and now he's hurt........

Eye for an eye.
Now are you happy???
Does this make you and others feel better?? I mean come on already, can we drop this, or is this all you can talk about?
So how does Wallace feel about Bynum getting injured, YOU THINK he's happy??? I seriously doubt it.

Blaming and wanting injury are two different things. It is not that difficult to understand that...

this is a guess, but if he had the mri earlier, and nothing has been announced yet, he is done for a while.

his agent is probably going to spin this, as millions are at stake, but it doesn't look good.

sucks also...he is one of the best young players in the NBA.

like I said, just a guess from what has happened.

millions are at stake? What does his agent need to spin, he signed a contract before the season started.

He already got his extension this summer, so I'm failing to see what money has to do with this.

if he had the MRI earlier, the results are in

there is a reason why they have not released the results yet

You can get an MRI done, but that's not gonna do anything. Reading the MRI is what's gonna tell you what's going on. His doctor was away earlier and that's why there has been a delay in getting the results back. The severity of the injury is not going to delay the team from notifying the public the extent of Bynum's injury. We will all find out soon enough.

having the MRI done and the doctor not being there to read it = done for a while. thanks for that nugget of knowledge.

^ I think you're thinking about Odom ^

I don't remember the exact nature of his injury to be honest though...

you really beleive the Lakers couldnt get a doctor to read it right away

unlike you, I dont beleive everything I hear. I think it has been read for hours, and they are just waiting to release it. The longer they wait, the worse it looks for Bynum imo

Reporting from New York -- Results of an MRI exam for Lakers center Andrew Bynum will not be known until Monday, a team official said Sunday night.

Bynum had the exam on his sprained right knee done at 11 a.m. Sunday in New York, but knee specialist David Altchek did not return in time from a trip to Florida to read the results by nightfall

"We were hoping to have the results tonight," Lakers spokesman John Black said. "It doesn't look like we're going to have anything until Monday morning."

It was not the same knee that prematurely ended Bynum's 2007-08 season and ultimately led to surgery last May.

Bynum was injured after Kobe Bryant crashed into him at the end of an off-balance drive in the first quarter of the Lakers' 115-98 victory Saturday at Memphis.

"Hopefully everything will be OK," Bryant said. "We haven't heard the results from the MRI yet, but we're optimistic about it."

Last season, Bynum injured his left knee in mid-January, also against Memphis, after coming down on Lamar Odom's foot while reaching back for a rebound. A few months later, Altchek performed a 30-minute procedure in which he removed cartilage debris and smoothed rough spots on the underside of Bynum's left kneecap.

Getting happy that a player goes now with a injury.

So if your mom breaks her leg tomorrow can I say that was Karma as well? Or will that be classless?

Now we've got a conspiracy theory regarding a knee injury. Only in the NBA.

Bynum already signed his deal. So, what is the reason again they would prolong this?
