It's going to be Mo Williams or Ray Allen so Mark Jackson can finally STFU.

I hope it goes to Allen so Mo Williams can go even more crazy.

I'd like to see Carter invited ( not going to happen and shouldn't happen i know ^^ ) and just to hear Mark Jackson lament about how bad David Sterns decision was

It has to be two from each elite team in the East, so it'll be even. Orlando gets 2, Cleveland gets 2, and Boston gets 2. Each with 1 starter and 1 bench player.

The Lakers still have Odom and Gasol up front.

we have Anthony Johnson and no one else
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

They'd probably get into the mix for Marbury as well. That is if Jameer will be out for a considerable amount of time.

CP3 injury is bigger.

If he misses real time the Hornets could be on the outside looking in by the time he gets back. They are only 3 games out of 9th place as it is.

hey i wonder if this is karma like it was for bynum? does this mean jameer is a really bad person? i mean, bad luck would have nothing to do with injuries.
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Nelson will be significantly more noticeable of a loss. Odom has the game to be a starter on most teams in the NBA while Johnson is questionable if he would even be a backup for most of the good teams out there.

The real question is if Bynum will be back for the playoffs and if so what type of Bynum will the Lakers be getting back. If he can't go then or is significantly less effective then his loss will have much more impact.

Wow, I feel people are really slurping Nelson way too hard.

The reason they have gone from a playoff team to contender is:

A Dwight has finally got some reliable post moves and just gets better every year anyway.

B Rashard has stepped his game up.

C They have all been together for another year along with more playoff experience

D Yes Jameer's play has impacted and helped. This is because he has gone from oft injured scrub with a streaky jumper to a slighty above average point guard with a good jumper. Nothing more.

The only reason this is going to effect the Magic is because your backup is Anthony freakin Johnson and you really don't have a 3rd PG.

It's alright though, Nelson isn't even a playmaker, most of his assists come from dumps to the post and kicking the ball to an open shooter when the defense collapses on him while he is mid-shot attempt, which was probably a bad shot anyway.

As long as guys step up and make their 3's, it's gonna almost be like he was never there and then everyone will realise how uber overrated he is and what a farce it was for him to make the ASG.

That poster ripping on Jameer is probably Brian Hill, who never trusted Jameer enough to allow the PG to shine when he coached the Magic -- or some Magic point guard who is mad that he isn't here anymore because they wanted Nelson to be the starter.

It's going to hurt the Magic -- a lot. The Magic don't have a good history with shoulders either. Darrell Armstrong missed like 18 months when he dislocated his shoulder way back and Tony Battie missed an entire season. Jameer is a tough little guy, but he needs a strong shoulder to play the way he plays. Except for Dwight, he was the player they could least afford to lose. This is very bad news.

And it was really classy watching Jason Terry, Jason Kidd and Josh Howard laughing, too.

Dwight will keep on Dwighting

I think this is really the key. If Jameer misses significant time, I still think Orlando can maintain a top three seed. As long as Dwight stays healthy, the Magic can manage as long as Jameer is healthy in time for May and June.

This sucks for the Lakers too.. With the Cavs/Celts/Magic all stealing games from each other, it helped our case to get homecourt in the finals.. If Jameer is done that's 1 less team the top 2 in the east have to worry about

I am not trying to diminish Jameer's value but the Magic can win without him.

At worst they will be locked into the third spot.
