 at the Laker homerism.

This is a devastating injury for the Magic. Jameer is a KEY part of the Magic's success, and will be sorely missed. There is a huge decrease in ball movement when he leaves the court.

What's the difference between Jameer and Anthony Johnson? Seriously? Have you watched a Magic game at all this year? If you think he's only had one good game this year, obviously not.

Not that Jameer isn't important, but as important as Deron or CP3? That's just going overboard. Hornets without CP3 is not even an NBA team.

At worst they will be locked into the third spot.

Huh? At BEST they'd get the third spot.

I agree that losing Jameer will hurt the Magic more than losing Bynum will hurt the Lakers. We all remember how good the Lakers were last season. Odom and Gasol can more easily compensate for the Lakers and they'll still get the #1 seed out west. The Magic don't have a backup PG good enough to fill in for Nelson. They'll still be a very good team, but are in danger of falling out of the race for the top East spot without Nelson.

Hope to see Vince Carter in the all-star.

The Magic should trade for Jamaal Tinsley. He'll keep the ship a float.

Jameer is certainly a bigger loss to the Magic than Bynum is to the Lakers. I think both players are equally important to their respective teams, it's just that the Lakers have much more depth to absorb the loss of Bynum than the Magic do to cover the loss of Nelson.

Look on the bright side, maybe this will force Otis Smith to make a trade for a quality point guard, hell maybe they even pull off this year's "Gasol steal/trade" (although I still maintain that wasn't as lopsided as it first appeared).

Also, what's the latest word on Jameer's shoulder, is he out for the rest of the regular season? or is he done for the year including playoffs?

F**k when will a Celtics big-3 go down for a couple of months :D

1. Big Z and West go down for Cavs for an extended time
2. Bynum goes down for extended time
3. Nelson goes down for extended time
4. KG has a flu in which he'll sit 2 games

I guess it's the luck of the Irish... NOT

I had a labral tear last year. It's something that has to be surgically repaired.

Playing basketball with friends. Just got hit at a bad angle while shooting, pushing my shoulder up and out as I moved my arm forward. It just felt like a pop at the time and didn't hurt much but eventually an MRI w/ contrast showed it.

It's tricky afterwards. Your shoulder will still be quite unstable. I have the strength of a twelve-year-old girl now. Than again, I'm sure as an NBA player constantly rehabbing you can overcome that.

from the article above
All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson could miss the rest of the season for the Orlando Magic because of a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

That's the same injury wade had a couple of years ago. Based on how putting off surgery for rehab worked for wade, Jameer should just do the surgery and fix it right.

Here's an article I found from when Wade had the injury

Wow I had no idea the injury was this serious. They def need to make a move before the deadline.

I was gonna ask, didn't Wade have the same injury? And, even though he came back to his partial self after a few weeks of rehab, he didn't have complete motion in that arm at all.

Just very unfortunate for the magic, when everything seemed to be going their way.

Well it only took a bit of time before an ass would pop his head up and wish misfortune on someone other team. No C fan (that I am aware of) has be anything but right in what they have posted. Why would you come on here and wish in a back handed way any players go down. Care to explain yourself.
