I guess it's the luck of the Irish... NOT

Well it only took a bit of time before an ass would pop his head up and wish misfortune on someone other team. No C fan (that I am aware of) has be anything but right in what they have posted. Why would you come on here and wish in a back handed way any players go down. Care to explain yourself.

I should have used the green font 8-)

You have some misplaced anger.......The C's have nothing to do with any of these counts. 8-)

if jameer nelson chooses to have surgery, he'll pretty much be done for the year. if he attempts rehab and hopes for the best, it'll be weeks before he sees any action.

after seeing wade with a similar injury 2 yrs ago, and the time it takes to get fully back, it's better to get the surgery out of the way and start rehab asap.

Yes, I agree. What's worse is that the damage was inflicted on his shooting shoulder.

^From what I've read around the boards, some are saying it's worse than Wade's, but to what extent?

A dislocated shoulder with tissue damage, is a dislocated shoulder with tissue damage, no?

I think a torn labrum is more than just tissue damage. I think this is more damaging then Wade's, especially considering it is his shooting shoulder.

He should just get surgery and get ready for next season.

This blows. I would argue that Meer's injury is 'bigger' in context because of the lack of depth Orlando has at his position. In L.A, Pau Gasol can slide over to the 5 and Lamar Odom can come in at the 4. That's hardly a big difference in talent (if at all). In Orlando, we have to start an ageing career backup in Anthony Johnson, and now have no recognised point guard on the bench, barring any roster moves by the management.

Shame is right, I was enjoying the battle in the east and hopefully the Magic can get someone to help bolster that now depleted back court. Ive been a fan of Delonte and Jameer since St. Joes days and been rooting for both since.

This really is a shame. A young star goes down with a serious injury... scary for his career. The team he was playing on was a contender... they contend no more. The entire landscape of the NBA changes with one injury, and now Orlando's lack of depth will become exposed and they will fall back down to the middle of the pack in the East. It's officially a two horse race in the East.

Wow the whole season? The magic should definatly make a run for Marbury if he becomes. He could probably get them back to where they are right now if hes in game shape.

Bynums injury isn't close to as big considering they made it to the finals with this exact lineup without Ariza and with Turiaf. That right there shows me it will be much less of an impact in LA then Orlando losing an Allstar.

Wow.. okay I thought max a month for a poped shoulder.

Well Starbury would love to go to ORL and start for them. It'd be a dream job for him.

Although Jameer never played the tradional PG role that Starbury wants so he can dominate the ball... and they don't match up all that great.. but it could work. AND a first year winning team with Starbury would be the most exciting thing this year.

Would the Magic have any interest in (or money/parts to) making a move for Andre Miller?

that blows. Kid can play and he was really clicking with ORL

I know Wade had a similar injury. Also, Odom had this injury twice. When the Lakers played the Suns in the platoffs a few years back. Odom decided to pay through the pain and he played great. However, he said it was pretty bad.

F*ck, even though I'm a Raps fan, I was really looking forward to some competition in the Eastern playoffs this year rather than watch Cleveland and Boston battle it out.

Our season is over. I honestly don't see how we'll be any good without Jameer. For one, Anthony Johnson is pure garbage. And two, this means more playmaking for Turkoglu who plays like a moron. We'll probably still win games, but not nearly at the pace we have been. And an automatic second round loss. Hell, we might have some trouble in the first round. Good luck Lakers/Cavs/Celtics, should be a good battle.
