I know Wade had a similar injury. Also, Odom had this injury twice. When the Lakers played the Suns in the platoffs a few years back. Odom decided to pay through the pain and he played great. However, he said it was pretty bad.

Odom only had the torn labrum. Nelson has the torn labrum and dislocation.

4. KG has a flu in which he'll sit 2 games

I guess it's the luck of the Irish... NOT

Well it only took a bit of time before an ass would pop his head up and wish misfortune on someone other team. No C fan (that I am aware of) has be anything but right in what they have posted. Why would you come on here and wish in a back handed way any players go down. Care to explain yourself.

I should have used the green font 8-)

shobe ............. Relax Brahhh

Dont lower yourself and stoop down to other idiots on this board that have no class brahhh.

Nobody should wish harm or pain and suffering on anyone, nobody.
And by you posting this you are making US Laker fans look classless as well. FYI

LOL, Nelson is to the Magic what CP3 to the Hornets? now, thats funny, listen, i'am not comparing Anthony Johnson and Nelson, but the difference between the best PG in the league and Nelson is much higher than the difference between Nelson and A.Johnson. Let's be real.

i'am sorry for the Magic and non-homers Magic fans.

Wow, I was really surprised.
I thought he would return after 2 weeks or so, judging by how he ran to the locker room without screaming or crying from pain.

I mean, his reaction was totally different from Bynum's or Wade's.

Is there a replay? I saw the game live, and I saw Jameer bumped into a standing Dampier while trying to rebound his own miss and tumbled to the floor. However, the ESPN article said he was fouled by Dampier?

Keith Bogans/Brian Cook/2nd round pick for Earl Watson = problem solved

Nelson is just not this impact player magic fans are making him out to be.

When I make statements like this people think I don't like Nelson or I don't like the Magic.
This is not true.

What I am saying is a lot of Magic fans are way overrating this guy.

He is simply an above average point guard and a good player.

Maybe the 12-14 best point guard in the NBA at best.

You replace him with Earl Watson and a few guys around him hit their 3's and step up slightly, it'll be like he was never there, except the emotional attatchment fans have created with him.

I agree with Cav's fan the biggest loss is West/Z in terms of talent at one period. However, if Nelson is lost for the season than that's the worst loss of all. The Lakers will be in the finals either way, and with great performances from Kobe, Odom and Gasol they could beat anybody. However, I don't think the Magic are beating either the Cavs or Celtics with Ant man at PG. But like Kefa said it's a long season and anything can happen.

Wow you make (Please Use More Appropriate Word) **** statements. Plz name the 14 PGs in the L that are better than Jameer.

I know its not exactly the same

but, its so close enough so....

Jameer- don't make the same mistake Wade did that cost him a lot of time. Do the surgery. Come back 100% next year.

With Bynum injured, it got me thinking of how the Lakers got to the Finals last year without him. How the hell did we do that? I mean are we really that good or did we get lucky? It just baffles me.

Yea, it sucks really Bad, if some of you watch Magic games, from last year to this year, you could see the improvement Jameer made in shooting the ball, you could go under the pick and roll and leave him open last year, not this year, and the shooting allow the defender to focus on him, and give Howard just a little bit more room to operate, i think what are we saying in terms of our team, our system, Jameer is vital like CP3 and Williams, he's not on their level, but he's easily been our second best player on our team this year....

They have to look at Marbury for sure, I think we can stomache him on a one year deal, he plays similar to Jameer, though his jump shooting isn't as good.

We need someone legit, no d league guys, no scrubs, we must get a legit replacement
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

The torn labrum causes the dislocation. I have had the same injury and when you tear the labrum the shoulder can dislocate very easily. Especially when the arm is extended above the shoulder, which is a lot in a basketball game. Odom dislocated but pulled it back in the socket. Nelson and Wade seemed like they couldnt put it back in, but a tear is a tear. It needs to be repaired and it will take a while for Nelson to be back. It took me 6 months just to be able to shoot a basketball comfortably.

again cp3's injury does not matter because they won't go anywhere this season anyway with or without him.
