Creating New Threads/Topics

Post#1 » by Flash3 » Mon Jul 20, 2009 1:04 pm

Over the past few weeks, we've had all sorts of variations of posters creating topics in all sorts of ways. And, many users have utterly complained about it and rightfully so. -- Going forward, create a topic using proper grammar/punctuation and do not call attention using ALL CAPS or !@#$% or w/ever. -- Doing so WILL cause a suspension to the forums AND a possible waive/ban of your account.

A refresher from the sticky already here:

Starting Threads/Topics

In addition, when it comes to starting threads adhere to the following:

-Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned.

-Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Huge Trade!", "Look Here!", "Check this out!", etc.

-Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Users posting spam will be banned and their post removed.

The administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Moderators and not users.
