Dallas was 3-0 vs. Portland last season and was the only opponent to win twice in the Rose Garden.

Portland and Denver had the same record last year and split their season series. Since then Portland got better by adding Andre Miller, while Denver added nobody and got a little worse, losing Kleiza. So I'll go with Portland.

Dallas is going to be such a flop next year. 6th seed at best.

1. lal
2. sas
3. por
4. den
5. jazz
6 - dal/no

id say they are primed for a 5th seed and another first round playoff exit. andre miller is not providing leadership, thats so overrated. has he ever even been out of the 1st round? The answer here is dallas, talent wise they are the third best team in the west.

Wow..... Try again.

I expect it'll be real close between Portland and Denver again next season.

Without making too many assumptions the safest bets are Denver or Portland. In a less safe bets NO, Utah, Denver, Dallas are all possibilities. Then we must account for yearly explosions (09 - Blazers, 08 - Hornets, 07 - Raptors, etc, 04 - Wolves) that just go from nowhere/or slowly improving to top 4. Doesn't seem like there are any teams with mass upgrades, but it could happen.

but I dont think this poll gives too much room for discussion, its really who is the safest bet at this point.

I was really close to voting for either POR/UTAH. POR is experienced now and Oden will probably be healthy and it will be a tough place to play in the rose den. Plus I believe they still have webster and that just adds on to the depth chart. while DEN did absolutely nothing at all. W/o boozer i dont think utah can reach 55 wins.

I voted for DEN

Probably because when Utah was healthy towards the end of the year they got punked by LAL, Portland, and most of the other playoff teams while slipping from 5th to 8th pretty fast.

According to RealGM last offseason, Portland was a 7th or 8th seed at best, and would be lucky to make the playoffs. They won 54 games.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

How was Utah healthy at the end of last season? Memo didn't play the first two games against L.A.? Booz came back from his injury and wasn't 100%, same with Andrei and Millsap.

You just pulling that **** out of your ass?

When we were playing well, our main cogs in Deron, Millsap, Okur and AK were somewhat healthy, its when we went on our 12 game winning streak and got back into the race for homecourt advantage, its when Booz came back and Memo went down is when we started to tail off.

Don't talk about **** you don't know.
