I don't get it... they're basing on some stats to see who's overrated and who's not? What's the deal here?

So they're overrated cuz they play on bad teams? Why not just throw in Durant while at it?

first ranking is ppg vs. wins produced
second is nba efficiency vs. wins produced
third is PEE vs. wins produced

wins produced is to david berri what PER is to hollinger. the higher your stats in the 1st number vs. the lower your wins produced number, the more overrated you are.

How does Wins Produced work? Is it still just taking boxscore stats and applying a weighting formula or what? Because if that's the case, this whole thing is totally worthless.

This list is dumb. How overrated a player is can't be based on stats. Its based on the fan's perception of the player. For example, no one thinks much of player's like Al Harrington, Charlie Villanueva, or Jamal Crawford. How can Al Harrington be the most overrated player in the NBA when most fans of the NBA think he is a chucker who is taking advantage of the Knicks system to get his stats? All this list tells me is what players put up the most empty stats, not what players are the most overrated.

Aldridge is overrated? Second scoring option on a good team is now a bad thing? Wow...

Bogus.

Id take half of those "overrated" players and put them on an expansion team. Granger is an upcoming all star.

the stat is trying to point out the players that put up stats without really contributing to a winning team.

overrated is the wrong word since most of us realise that these people are putting up empty stats.

obviously, as with any stat there are gonna be a few anomalies but i think overall it points out many of the players that are discussed on here and chuckers on bad teams.
