That looks awful, poor guy.

I read he went up to block a shot and came down clutching his knee. He has to cut a bunch of weight when he gets back. His body can't handle his mass.

Jeez, the NBA needs more high character individuals like Oden.
I do what I feel, not because people ask me to do this,” Bargnani says, holding his hands over his head and doing a strange chicken dance.

Hell, if you wanna feel sorry for somebody, how about the " Confirmed " 150 Million Americans right now under the age of 50 who are without a Job in this country!! But feel sorry for Oden ?

B!tches PLEASE!!

Yes because the two are mutually exclusive. It's impossible to feel sorry for Oden and the unemployed at the same time. And 150 million? Read a newspaper, buy a book, educate yourself for God sake.

That would be nice but it looks like Oden is going to have to deal with these injuries throughout his career.

You're probably right. It's just sad to see such a talented kid who's starting to realize his potential go down so often.

The poster who said 150 million Americans were unemplyed is exagerated however unfortunately 15.4 million Americans are unemployed. I think this number is being nice and that more poeple are unemployed then what is actually reported. Sad part is in November a report came out that more jobs will be lost in the upcoming months.

Back to the topic, I hope Oden comes back healthy when he returns to the NBA. Heres for a quick and speedy recovery.

When you say 'Americans,' do you mean 'Larvae?'

Yep. And it's not like we didn't know he was injury prone before hand. The Blazers took a risk, and it blew up in their face. Meanwhile, Durant is like 12 years old and already one of the best players in the league.

Wait. What?

It's confirmed dude. 50% of Americans are without a job. Forget the 10% number they came up with a few weeks ago.

To be fair, most people under 16 probably don't have jobs. I don't have census data, but that could be a substantial number.

First reaction... guy in my fantasy league is ****... he's going to go from 1st place to ...

Second reaction... feel really bad for not only the him and his fans but the nba... he was SOOOOOOOOO good... I honestly considered him to be above Durant just because I'd rather ahve a DOMINANT centre over a pf of Durant ilk but wow... in a state of shock...

Yeah I mentioned that as well but why would we feel bad for jobless 13 year olds anyways?

Fractured kneecap sounds tame compared to what actually happened. It looked like it shattered in the video.

I honestly think I might take a break from the NBA for a while, I haven't taken a break since I started watching in the late 90's but this is really the first thing that's made me not want to watch basketball.

Its like Grant Hill in Orlando all over again. Damaged goods man. He will never be the same.
