i dunno what the deal with centers is but every single one of them (except dwight, for now) has suffered serious injury almost regularly in recent history

You make a good point here. The rules are so focused on getting players to the line, scoring points, and protecting the guards. But in turn, it's hurting (literally) the big guys.

Oden got hurt jumping in the air, no contact. This has nothing to do with that. Oden just has bad knees.

Sucks to see good, young, promising talent go down with injuries. Gett better Greg. The blazers are deep enough to still compete Pryzbilla is a solid center. Just need him to grab rebounds and block some shots and they'll be alright.

I'm honestly more worried about the mental aspect of this, oden will probably be back to the mental state he was last year which was, for lack of better words, scared and fearfull when he was on the court, wish him all the best and a speedy recovery, this injury should not have any lingering affects on him, and he will jus need to get back into game shape smarter than what he did last time.
