Personally i think Bogut deserves to be an allstar this year. He's played like a top 3 Center in the league. When i take a look at the Bucks roster, i cannot fathom how they're even remotely close to .500.

The answer is Andrew Bogut and Scott SKiles.

Bogut, Kaman, Jefferson, Lopez, MGasol and Bynum are all on the same level

He's an allstar in my mind. A better player than Kaman (i know, ther'ye both in different conferences). A joy to watch in the post. Finishes with both hands, his passing is great, he defends, he blocks, he doesn't demand 30 shots a game... One of the greatest 5 in the game, without a doubt.

I was thinking more the 27 points on 11/14 shooting, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and the win... but yes by getting fouled out.

Bogut of this season is well above Jefferson and Lopez, despite Brook's gaudy numbers, the others are however in the discussion.

He's having an outstanding season despite coming off injury last season and having a few pretty poor games early.

Defensively he's as good as any big not named Dwight or possibly Perkins - he's 4th in the league in blocks per game and at last check was leading the league in charges drawn. Offensively he's struggled at times with his FG% but he's putting up 16ppg on 52% shooting and is generating most of those points himself rather than being assisted into dunks.
Watching him murder Lopez today was almost sad towards the end, Brook stormed off late in the game. It's a good time to be a Bogut homer :D

Heard an interesting stat a week or two ago, there are two guys in the entire league averaging at least 15/10 and 2 blocks per game. Dwight Howard and Andrew Bogut.

Bogut would be sick on the Thunder, perfect fit for both.

16/10/2/2 and it only looks like he's going to be improving. He's a stud.

I'd stand rooting for a Bogut to Thunder trade!

I'd love go get him on the Jazz. Dwill, Boozer, Bogut is a hell of trio to build around and I think his passing ability would really shine in Sloan's system.

Bogut, Gasol, Bynum and Lopez are on similar levels. Kaman and Jefferson a step below. Bogut is a great defensive anchor and has extremely skilled, efficient low-post scorer. I'd love to see him with a better roster (or traded to a good team.)

Has anyone looked at how weak the Bucks roster is? Jenning is their second best player, someone who shoots 35% from the field. Bogut deserves a lot of credit for making that team .500 (which isn't much below the Raptors by the way, a team with far more talent).

I think he's underrated. He should have been an allstar before David Lee. The guy is probably the best off-hand shooter in the NBA along with Kobe/Sheed. He has great post moves and is a fantastic passer. I think he can move to 20/10 & 2.5 blocks next year.

Bogut definitely deserve the all star spot over Lee. This is a perfect case of big city bias.

Bogut is better then Lee because he defends.

He does everything well, nothing super elite, but it makes him a good player.

Rebounds very well
Passes very well
Is a good offensive player with a wide variety of moves
Defends well, blocks and draws charges and uses good position

He isn't the most athletic guy, but he's very skilled.

He's also a nice guy. I used talk to him once and a while and fix his computer when he was at the U of U and he was cool and would hang and chat a while when he came by. He knew he was going to be a #1 pick and was still very down to earth. I'm glad to see him doing well.

And he seems to care about the game and his team. He started a contest this year to get a bunch of the loudest fans and he buys them tickets to every home game. How cool is that of a player?

Bogut Rocks.

Bogut Rocks.

I'm part of the Squad 6 and it has been my coolest experience as a Bucks fan. Definitely a down to earth guy.
