That's a ridiculous statement. Chris Bosh has gotten better every single season. With the right supporting cast, there is no reason to think they can't win a championship.

If the Pistons won the championship with Billups as their best player, a team with Bosh can win the championship.

What a stupid comment, Pistons was a team FULL of allstars the year they won the championship, billups was the mvp but each player was semi-responsible as billups for the ring, whos team focused on defense, (which was record breaking as well). Chris can never compete for a championship with him as the 1st option.

Chauncey is the outlier there, other than him the list of best players on championship teams in the last 20 years includes KG, Kobe, Duncan, Wade, Shaq, Jordan, Hakeem and Isiah, all players who were top 3-5 in the league at some point, something Bosh is not.

I'm going to wager that Toronto (or any other team Bosh might be the man for) will never have a supporting cast as well-rounded as that Detroit team, which had 3-4 other players arguably as good as Chauncey in their starting lineup, not to mention a record-breaking defense.

Once again, that's not the argument.

I'm saying the Chris, WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORTING CAST, could win a championship. Whether that supporting cast has to be better than Kobe's or Lebron's is not he argument. He COULD win the championship as the #1 option.

But Bosh could be. He's getting better, becoming the best PF in basketball, and could becoming top 5 in the future. To say there is no way, is a ridiculous statement.

I'll ammend that statement then. Short of having a team as well-rounded as the Detroit Pistons circa 2004, or Bosh dramatically improving to KG's level defensively, no team with Chris Bosh as its best player will win the championship.

Most of those players had supporting casts that could make the playoffs or even get to the 2nd round/CF's without them. Bosh has also improved significantly this year in all areas of his game, defense included. Give guys like Dirk/Gasol his supporting cast and they'd have a pretty tough time getting to 29-23 (especially Dirk, since this team exemplifies his weaknesses). Bosh is a top 10 player in the league imo and still improving. There arent many players you can put in his shoes and say they'd accomplish the same things.

LOL, Bosh will never be top 5 thats the whole point.

Wade will be in the top 5 for at least 4 more years (barring injuries), Kobe at least 2 (at least kobe fans) Durant will if not already is top 5, obviously Lebron, then there is Dwight, CP3, Dirk.

Tell me when will Bosh be top 5?

Bosh will never be top 5? Are you sure?

He's currently averaging 24.5, 11.5 and is one top 5 most efficient offensive players. He's improved every year he's been in the league. His defensive has improved by leaps and bounds this season.

I'm not saying it's a guarantee, but Bosh as a top 5 player is definitely not a laughable idea. People outside of Toronto have no concept about how good he actually is.

When did i say Bosh wasn't good?

Wade, Lebron, cp3,Melo(forgot him earlier for some reason), Dwight, are all young players who are better than Bosh, no contest, Bosh is top 10 no doubt, but he will never be top 5.

Wade, Bron, CP3 and Kobe are all ahead of Bosh, no question. Dwight and Melo? Perhaps, but it's definitely closer then your making it out to be.
