Why do we have now 5 pages of thread on an ex players wife filing for divorce? The man is going through what could be some of the toughest times of his life in his daughter being ill and what could be the end of his career despite being capable of being a contributor, and media is digging into his personal life even further.

The story is obviously going to all over the media either way, I just wish we could all let it be and give the man some peace, regardless of if he is liked/disliked.

If he could have bought into the system and been the scoring sixth man the Grizz desperately need, I think the season would have been significantly better for both parties: Grizz would have netted more than a few more Ws, and AI may have extended his career for 2-3 years by salvaging his image.

I have a feeling something is very wrong with Iverson. His quick and abrupt fall from teh top and his loss of skills along with his erratic behavior and weird partying and now some headlines about him drinking lead me to believe that he's having a serious problem with Alchohol. I mean, his wife and kids are now leaving him, this man must feel like he's lost everything thats important to him, i could understand why alchohol is filling that void. I hope something bad doesnt happen to him.

His fall was quick, but much of that had to do with his own refusal to accept a more limited role. I don't think there is anything weird about his partying. I'm sure he spent his entire career hitting clubs and drinking.

With more idle time and his career over, he may be drinking more than previously, but I seriously doubt there is some drastic difference in his lifestyle.

Feel sorry for the people in Chile who have lost everything because of Earthquakes. Dont feel sorry for a man who was given an opportunity to play in the NBA, something few can even dream about, and has alienated himself from everybody...even those closest to him...because of his pride and selfishness...

Yea, because whenever we feel sorry for someone, we have to justify it to the standard that is basically everything worse that is going on in the world. Children have been dying in Africa for decades and you're telling me you've never felt bad for anyone in your life? Surely they were better off and had been given a better opportunity than those kids.

Yeah, even before that actually. They have been together for over 20 years. They've known each other since junior high.
